It has never let me down. It starts up within 1 or 2 kicks everytime and the motor pulls very hard especially in such a lightweight bike. This bike was originally built in Redwood City, CA in the early 70's, it was taken apart at some point and I bought it as a basket case and put it all back together keeping the original old paint and finish on everything. I still have the original registration for the bike from the early 80's where it was registered in Redwood City. If you are into choppers especially survivor choppers this is the bike for you. This bike was featured in Show Class magazine, Wrench magazine, and the Godspeed4506 books within the last few years I have a clean and clear NY state paper in my name for the bike and it is titled properly as a 1949 Harley Davidson FL Bike is located in NY, but I will ship anywhere in the world if the buyer arranges and pays for the shipping
