1981 Honda CB750 Custom, Great running older Honda 750!!! Here is a blast from the past, The Honda CB750 Custom. At the heart of the CB750C is an inline four-cylinder engine with a double overhead cam,16 valve set up, that is incredibly reliable. The Honda CB750 4 cylinder motorcycle changed the world of motorcycling forever. The Honda 750 was known as the first "Superbike", it offered comparatively, maintenance free riding and a smooth powerful engine. It is not uncommon for a dohc CB750 engine to get to 200,000 miles without a rebuild when properly maintained.This one only has 17968 miles on it! Check out the pictures!! This one is not perfect, the mufflers are starting to rust form the inside out, but we do need to keep in mind that it is 36 years old. It has been serviced, and it does run, and ride just as it should!! All of our pre-owned Motorcycles & ATVs have been serviced by our factory trained mechanics, and will have fresh oil changes, and a full checklist has been completed. 1981 CB750 Custom great condition for age, runs fine. Has am/fm cassette radio Honda Line Fairing and removable Honda Line Trunk. New battery and almost new seat cover. Front and rear brakes great condition all light work. Front tire good tread but has weather cracks, from setting. Gas tank could use new paint but looks ok. For Sale I have a 1981 CB750 Custom with Original 9000 Probably more by the time is sold, Is going to Need Some Carb work, I rebuild the carbs last year, i got some bad gas somewhere So i had to rebuild them again, It seems to be running good, I replaced the battery and Voltage regulator and Starter solenoid, The bike is in Excellent condition and i ride it whenever i can, i get compliments where ever i go, im selling for $2,200 Negotiable or willing to trade for a another 750 from 80 to 95 or 650 from the 80's Or Any Cruiser Bike 500cc and up, i got clean title and you can ride the baby home if you like.

Fork seals replaced at 4,800 miles. New tires at 5,144 miles. Oil and filter at 5,141 miles (10W-40). Gas tank cleaned in August 2014. Horn replaced at 5,000 miles. Accident free. Selling my 1981 Honda CB750 Custom. I've owned this bike for about 2 years now and it's been a blast to work on. Very simple construction and very intuitive to learn on. Reason I'm selling: Bike is just too big and I bought a boat so I need some garage space. I'm only about 5' 7" 160 lbs and this 500lb hog is just a little too hard for me to run by myself. That said, it's a great starter bike for someone taller or bigger. New/Replaced: Carb o-rings Carb bowl gaskets Overhead cam seal Pod filters (still have the original airbox) Recently Cleaned: Carburators Fuel tank Needs: Carb tuning Fork seal replacement? (I have the parts, just never got around to changing it) I have a clean title ready to go home with you and the bike. Bike runs a little rough, but I just cleaned the carbs inside and messed with the sync and air screws so I know it's just a carb sync issue. I just don't have the time to adjust the screws, run it, adjust a little more and repeat. Sindt quoted me $85 bucks a carb to sync the carbs but since I'm selling it, I'll let you do that. Bike fires up on the first crank with the choke on every time so again, just needs some tuning to have her running perfect. Send me an email if you're interested. 1981 Honda Cb 750C, 1981 CB750 Bobber/Chopper Great custom stretched bobber. Why spend your summer trying to fabricate one of these unique bikes when this one is already done. You'd pay more to put one together piece by piece. This bike started as a stock 1981 Honda CB750C. Was completely stripped to bare frame. Strectched over 1 foot and welded solid. Instead of typical coil seat springs like your average bobbers, one of the original rear shocks is utilized for the seat suspension. Creative, adjustable and effective. Could use some finishing touches....turn signals, speedometer, seat pan cushion... Customize it how you want. - Motor has roughly 19k on it. Was told by Custom-Shop in Madison, where I bought it from, that the Carbs were rebuilt. Need to be synchronized. Newer chain and batt. -Things I have found it needs. It needs new tires. Plenty of tread but old and starting to show cracking. Front shocks need new seals. $20 A few scractches on the exhaust pipes paint. All fairly cheap fixes which will be done eventually if its not bought for a discounted price. Its still titled as a 1981 Honda. Last titled in 1992. It is also one of very few optional 2 seater bobbers. Plans changed. Need to sell. May take trade. What do you have? Really cool bike. I always provide the benefit of honesty.
