Nice Original 1978 Yamaha XS 400 B - 17K - has the deluxe package of mag wheels and electric start- bike has a clean Idaho title- and Had a full tune-up w/ carb clean 2 years ago.. its always started and run smooth and shift smooth w. no smoke or engine noise. All electrical worked. Its been stored w/out gas. its currently a little dusty from storage and not running... needs a new batterry - the brakes bled and some fresh gas/// see pix of inside of gas tank! the only thing its missing is the tach- and the mufflers are starting to rust. The bikes perfect for street tracker (which i was going to turn it into "or cafe racer.) its a minor project thats clean original and will run and drive w a few hours work. Harriet is a beautiful bike. She has an old school kick start and can be fickle if she hasn't been ridden regularly. She has a little more than 76,000 miles on her but she has been an indoor bike all of her life so her body is in great shape. I have ridden her back and forth to work on a weekly basis for nearly a year. In the early summer of 2016 I had her carburetor cleaned and refurbished, and replaced her spark plugs, float valves, bowl gaskets, and T/S damper. She also has a new battery and her wheels are in great shape. She also has her original Yamaha tool kit. She has 6 gears and weighs roughly 350 lbs. She is an awesome commuter bike and would be happy to find a home with someone who loves to tinker. She is vintage and in lovely shape. Trust me, kick starting her will make anyone feel like a bad-***!
