1975 Honda CB500T. VIN: CB500T-2000161 Manufacture Date: 4/75. This is the 500 c.c. Twin that Honda came out with to replace the CB450. I love these 500T's. I think they are one of the best bikes Honda ever made. By this time, Honda had perfected the dual overhead cam from the 450 and it transferred right over to the 500T. Unique styiling. Smooth enjoyable power. Highway cruising all day long with 2 up, and very nice handling all make the CB500T a well balanced and well engineered motorcycle. Here is the history of this bike. I bought it from a gentleman from Minnesota who had bought the bike as a nice running bike but who wanted to restore the bike. So, he completely disassembled the bike, then had the frame and gastank and side covers professionally painted. He then replaced any worn parts with oem parts, rebuilt and cleaned the carbs, bought new air filters, bought a new horn, and began the re-assembly. So the bike has always been a very strong runner but needed cosmetic restoration. He re-assembled the bike almost completely. The gas tank is very clean inside, (see picture). The tires are almost brand new Dunlops which he bought and had installed on the bike. The rims are original and rust free and the spokes are also rust free. The bike is almost completed but still needs some things done to complete the reassemble. he even had a new battery in the bike and was driving it. He then noticed the right front turn signal not working so he started to look at the wiring under the tank and disconnected a few wires. The only problem was probably a bulb. Anyway, the bike is very very clean. It was professionally painted black and the Honda emblem holes filled. I have the original Honda tank emblems and they are included, as well as a box full of small parts like a new horn, nuts and bolts. All the bike needs is for someone to get the wiring all hooked up again. Most of it is...99%. Just needs the wires in the left control to be connected and a few wires under the seat and a few wires up front connected. I am not a mechanic and I cannot do it. If I could, I would. So, the carbs are done, the engine has gobs of compression, and the bike has spark. That means it should run. So, I am going to list the bike for $895.00. If I get it running tomorrow, I will obviously have to raise the price but here is a one time chance to buy a vintage Honda for a very reasonable price that is almost ready to go. 2016 Honda CB500F, 2016 HONDA CB500F HERE IN BOULDER GFORCE POWERSPORTS OF BOULDER 303-447-3500 2016 Honda® CB500F Better Than Ever For 2016. Honda s twin-cylinder sportbikes revolutionized the world of motorcycling when they first appeared, and this latest generation our 500 twins are the best ever. Here s what you need to know about the CB500F: It s the most broad-spectrum of the 500 family, with minimal bodywork, a classic riding position, and a 30.9-inch seat height that fits a wide range of riders. Even though it s just a couple of years old, for 2016, it gets some tasty updates both in terms of style and function. The best part stays the same: the powerful twin-cylinder engine and its wide, user-friendly powerband. But for 2016, you get better shift feel thanks to some transmission upgrades, a new adjustable front-brake lever, a larger fuel tank, and preload-adjustable front suspension. And there s more, too: The new headlight and crisper style you can see for yourself, but the new exhaust you ll have to hear to appreciate. The CB500F has always been an excellent choice for riders ready to move up a displacement class, or for anyone who appreciates a great middleweight motorcycle, and for 2016, it s even better. Features May Include: Digital Instrumentation A full LCD blue-tinted screen features a digital speedometer and tachometer and more, including a clock, odometer, trip meter, real-time and average fuel consumption meters, and illuminated engine diagnostic indicators. LED Headlight A new styling element for 2016, the CB500F s LED headlight gives the front end a cutting-edge look and also projects plenty of light on the road for visibility. Rear Grips Sturdy rear passenger grips offer a firm handhold for your passenger or tie-down points for smaller items. Step Seat The CB500F offers a step seat with a low height. Perfect for around-town riding or out in the canyons, it also offers plenty of room for a passenger and is specially designed to fit a wide range of riders. Unique Style Less is more when it comes to the CB500F, but for 2016, we ve fine-tuned that look to freshen things up a bit. With its classic, clean, progressive style, the CB500F is a motorcycle that looks great while still providing incredible value and performance. Steel-Tube Frame A motorcycle s frame is the basis for its handling. A take on a classic construction, the CB500F s diamond-shaped 35mm steel-tube mainframe ties to the engine with four mounts, offering a rock-solid foundation for a superior ride and handling. Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) continuously monitors several variables to ensure the correct fuel mixture is delivered for the existing riding and atmospheric conditions for c

Walk around video:https://youtu.be/TOeW8xwS5D0 Ride by video:https://youtu.be/yHbSymkhbI4 The frame and swing arm are good (some light flash rust here and there, no pitting) but if you want a show bike they would need to be powder coated. Also the rims and spokes would need to be polished. There is a small dimple in the tank that I didn't notice before painting. Not big but the glossy black paint made it kinda stick out at the right angle. It looks like maybe it could be easily popped out. The gauges work fine but are weathered. The bike could use a taller or longer kick stand. Any other questions let me know.

Up for sale is a 75 Honda CB500t set up as a mild cafe racer. The bike has a few cool custom modifications. The previous owner had it painted with black single stage urethane. The paint looks nice but not perfect. I added the Honda decals and the pin stripe and it has a really cool old school look. I redid the gauges with white face decals, added some mini turn signals, and powder coated the right side oil cover and turned a design in to it for a custom look. I added a set of clubman bars, bar end mirrors, and new grips. It has an aftermarket 2 into 1 exhaust that sounds great! The previous owner painted the frame flat black. It doesn't look bad but it's not the original paint. The kick starter will not return so I just removed the lever. Electric start works good, I replaced the switch with an aftermarket unit because the original was missing. The engine doesn't want to run on the choke for some reason, but it will start up on it and warms up quickly and seems to run really well. The front caliper sticks so I have the bolts loosened so it rolls freely. It will most likely need the caliper rebuilt. The rear brake works fine. It shifts smoothly through the gears and rides nice. I would assume that it will prob need fork seals because they all do but I've only rode the bike up and down the street so I'm not 100% sure. It has Dunlop Elite tires front and back that are in nice shape. The seat has a crack running length wise about 5", but overall it doesn't look bad. The lights, signals, and gauges all work fine. The chrome is overall in good shape and would look great with some time spent polishing. Overall, this is a cool looking old bike that with just a little effort could be ridden and enjoyed. Title is clear from Michigan and is signed off by previous owner. Feel free to ask any questions before bidding and thank you for looking!
