GREAT BIKE!  At 950cc size this bike weights in about 600 lbs., fairly light for its class, flexible, easily maneuvered, FUN to ride!  With the low seat height, laid back style and belt drive it cruises smoothly on the highway with plenty of torque to pull off quick and strong acceleration even with a passenger and small pack load on the back.  As I intended upon purchase, I've kept the bike as close to "stock" as possible, the only add on that isn't factory is a 130 db. Strebel horn, that saved my butt from picking up gravel a couple of times!  As to the OEM added upon purchase I had dealer service mount a key locking removable wind shield, and rear rack with a passenger seat, for those times I like to ride stripped down.  The leather bags are also Yamaha OEM, which are not only handy but add a nice style touch to the bike.  Condition is Very Good, all service done professionally, garaged on a battery tender, kept clean and neat.  About 13k miles on it, still using weekly 2 - 3 days, oil changed every 2 - 3000 miles and it runs like it, smooth!  I need to make some personal changes thus willing to talk on the price, yet if you are looking for a used bike to get into riding, this is one you can do so much lower than new, and if you want to go to another down road, I'd bet you keep this one also, it's that much Fun!  I had 3 up to recently, a screamer FZ8, and a classy Triumph Bonneville done out in cafe style I sill ride as well.  I'm willing to talk on the price, but only to somone who's serious about buying, give me a call!

My 1999 Harley Davidson Electra Glide in one of the “original” modified Street Glides. It has an excellent quality custom paint job, Fat Boy front fender, and Street Glide running boards, shifters and passenger pegs and seat. It has the original Twin Cam 88 engine with a 5 speed transmission. It has been upgraded with a Stage 3 update and a full Rinehart True Dual 4” exhaust system. It runs and sounds outstanding. The cam chain tensioners have been replaced in the last 1k miles and a complete service was performed at the same time. It has a Progressive link stabilizer, and the Michelin tires and brakes are like new. This bike is not perfect, but it is in outstanding condition for its age. This motorcycle has been used off road and it has scratches, scrapes, dents, and dings but it is clean and mechanically ready to go. I would not hesitate to take it anywhere. Also, it weighs about half as much as a modern GS so it's much easier to deal with off road. That's all I can think of right now. $6999.00 Some added notes: 133K on the clock. The motor has only break-in miles on it (less than 100 miles). The crank was excellent so we did not touch it. everything from the connecting rod bearings out has been replaced. R100 Nikasil cylinders, and pistons, Deves rings, big valve heads, valves had proper valve grind, 44mm bing carbs, etc. The transmission was rebuilt some time ago, (30K, 50K?) I don't remember exactly, but it shifts perfect, no noise. the drive was rebuilt about 15k ago. All suspension was rebuilt and set up for a loaded bike 3k ago. just installed a new Gel-cell battery. At some point the frame was powder coated. Spare parts and tools are stashed and hidden all over the bike. I haven't even driven on the new Twinduro tires.
