1981 BMW R Series GS, BMW R80GS / R100GSA 1981, R80 motor just rebuilt with R100 top end and big valve - big port heads. Less than 100 miles. 44mm Bing carbs.. 5 speed transmission with kick start. Brand new Continental TKC 80's just installed. Heavy duty tubes front and rear. Fox "Twin-Clicker" fully adjustable rear shock, rebuilt. GSPD forks, clamps, HD springs, rebuilt. Steering head bearings just replaced. Akront front rim. GSPD front disk. Harrison six piston brake caliper. Galfer steel braded brake line. Acerbis 10+ gallon gas tank. High output headlamp. R100 Nikasil cylinders, and pistons, Deves rings, big valve heads, valves had proper valve grind, 44mm bing carbs, etc. The transmission was rebuilt some time ago, (30K, 50K?) I don't remember exactly, but it shifts perfect, no noise. the drive was rebuilt about 15k ago. All suspension was rebuilt and set up for a loaded bike 3k ago. just installed a new Gel-cell battery. At some point the frame was powder coated. Spare parts and tools are stashed and hidden all over the bike. I haven't even driven on the new Twinduro tires.
