The bike, dubbed the V7 II to separate it from the previous model, now has standard ABS and traction control. More significant, the engine has been repositioned inside the frame, and the old five-speed gearbox has been replaced by a six-speed.The V7 II Racer confirms its equipment with black anodized aluminium parts which contrast with the ultra bright 22 litre chromium metal fuel tank. Special red paint for the frame, wheel hubs and swingarm inspired by the first V7 Sport range. The prestigious components include adjustable billet set-back footpegs, a lightened steering pin, fully adjustable Bitubo gas shock absorbers, single-seat Alcantara saddle and the leather belt personalised with the Moto Guzzi logo that adorns the top of the fuel tank. ABS, traction control, refined chassis and the new 6 speed gearbox complete the equipment on this unique, limited edition bike manufactured at Mandello del Lario.he V7 II is fitted with a dual channel ABS system and MGCT (Moto Guzzi Traction Control). V7 II racer completes the V7 II range, boasting a completely new stunning graphic. Moto Guzzi centro stile has exclusively developed this graphic for the north american market; as a result this graphic carries the evocative “Racer America” name. This special model is manufactured in limited edition (1/1000) as indicated by the celebratory aluminum plate located on the upper steering yoke.Produced in a limited edition. The V7 II Racer confirms the standard equipment with black anodized aluminum components, in contrast with the 22 liters super glossy chrome-plated fuel tank. Special red paintwork for the frame, wheel hubs and swing arm, multi-adjustable dual-tube gas shock absorbers, set back machined-from-solid footrests and single-seat Alcantara saddle are just some of the distinguishing features of this unique bike.V7 II is now safer thanks to the standard dual channel Continental ABS system and traction control (Moto Guzzi Controllo Trazione) and more enjoyable to ride thanks to a new 6 speed gearbox. The revised engine position and improved ergonomics have greatly enhanced riding comfort. Seat is now lower at 31.1 inches - 790 mm as opposed to the previous 31.6 in - 805mm, also the footpegs have been lowered to make room for taller riders. The new riding position lets the rider enjoy the full benefits of the changes that have been made to the chassis which have made the front end more precise and efficient. All these improvements contribute to fully meet expectations in terms of aesthetics and riding pleasure.For the first time the Racer will be produced with a satin finished tank, the black/metallic grey paints are matched at an angle emphasized by a red line that is virtually a continuation of the distinctive V7 Racer red frame. In search for a more understated look the “7” has been eliminated from the number plates which now have a satin finish like the mudguards. The total-black look on the side panels, mirrors, silencer brackets and footpeg guards, first introduced on MY15. The tank belt and saddle are black, padding has been added to the seat to improve comfort, red stitching with and embroidered Moto Guzzi eagle completes the retro style.This new V7 II Racer is all about the details, and new brake and clutch levers, have been redesigned in order to achieve better ergonomics. One of the most distinctive features of this special-edition is the widespread use of anodized matt black and drilled aluminum.

Ride away on your own piece of history.Celebrate the history of the 1971 v7 sport with in 1969 set 19 speed records.In 1969, Lino Tonti built the Moto Guzzi V7 Record prototype, a motorcycle that set 19 speed records, including the 1000 km distance at 206 km/h (128 mph), the 100 km at 218.5 km/h (135.8 mph) and the 1 hour track at 217 km/h (134.8 mph) average speeds. The V7 Sport was officially launched in 1971, as a tribute to Lino Tonti and his new frame designed to house the 90-degree transverse V-twin motor. The 1971 V7 Sport was finished with the iconic Verde Legnano with Rosso frame paint combination, here perfectly symbolized in this Special Edition.
