The V7 III Stone now has stronger and more personal aesthetic connotations than its predecessor. Eclectic and essential, it foregoes any chromium parts, embracing the darkness of its matte black paintwork that goes well with the graphic dedicated only to the V7 III Stone of the saddle, fitted with a passenger grab strap. It is, however, available in other attractive, satin finish colors inspired by typical '70s shades: Nero Ruvido, Azzurro Elettrico, Verde Camouflage and Giallo Energico. The total “dark matte” look characterizes the V7 III and distinguishes it from the other versions, but that is not the only difference. V7 III Stone is the only one of the “four-of-a-kind” to have spoked wheels and single circular display instrumentation. The front fender has also been shortened in order to highlight the essential look of this model. 2017 Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber (NEW) SPECIFICATIONS: Engine: 90° V-twin, 4-stroke, 2-valves per cylinder Cooling: air and oil Capacity: 853 cc Compression Ratio: 10.5 : 1 Power: 40.44 kW (55 HP) at 6,250 rpm Torque: 45.7 ft-lb  (62 Nm) at 3,000 rpm Fuel System: Marelli MIU single-body electronic injection, integrated management of traction control on 2 levels Emissions: Euro-4 compliant Final Drive: Shaft Frame: ALS steel twin tube cradle frame Front Suspension: standard fork, Ø 40 mm Rear Suspension: swingarm with two shock absorbers, with adjustable spring preload Front Brake: stainless steel floating disc, Ø 320 mm Brembo opposed four-piston calipers Rear Brake: stainless steel floating disc, Ø 260 mm Brembo opposed two-piston calipers Saddle Height: 30.9" (785 mm) Curb Weight: 438.7 lbs (199 Kg)* All current Moto Guzzi motorcycles include a 2 year unlimited-mileage warranty. V9 Bobber: Moto Guzzi has created a new segment Bobbers appeared in the United States after World War II, built by passionate riders who stripped away all details superfluous to their goal of running fast on dirt tracks. To compete in these conditions the riders used to mount oversized tires, giving the bikes a wide footprint. In line with this style, the V9 Bobber abandons any chrome plating and glossy finish for matte black details. The side panels and fuel tank are thus pitch black, with just a few graphic details in yellow or matte red. The exhaust unit, mirrors and both metal mudguards are painted in “dark matte”. The rear mudguard has been carefully shortened and reduced in size, so as well as including a very compact optical unit, it makes a big contribution to the minimal look of the V9 Bobber. The matte black wheel rims, both 16 inches, are elegantly decorated with the Moto Guzzi logo in grey; the front rim is shod with a tyre that has an oversized shoulder (130/90). The MY 17 V9 Bobber also differs from the V9 Roamer because of the more crouched and sporty riding position, provided by the lower, black painted drag bar handlebar and the aluminium footpegs mounted 100 mm farther back and raised 35 mm. This technical choice guarantees a more active and extended posture and ensures more on board space and comfort, even for taller riders. The forward-mounted footpegs kit is also available as an option for the V9 Bobber, whereas the new series footpegs and saddle can be installed on the 2016 models in order to make the new ergonomics available to all V9 owners. 2016 Moto Guzzi V7 II Racer (NEW) V7 II is now safer thanks to the standard dual channel Continental ABS system and traction control (Moto Guzzi Controllo Trazione) and more enjoyable to ride thanks to a new 6 speed gearbox. The revised engine position and improved ergonomics have greatly enhanced riding comfort. Seat is now lower at 31.1 inches - 790 mm as opposed to the previous 31.6 in - 805mm, also the footpegs have been lowered to make room for taller riders. The new riding position lets the rider enjoy the full benefits of the changes that have been made to the chassis which have made the front end more precise and efficient. All these improvements contribute to fully meet expectations in terms of aesthetics and riding pleasure. For the first time the Racer will be produced with a satin finished tank, the black/metallic grey paints are matched at an angle emphasized by a red line that is virtually a continuation of the distinctive V7 Racer red frame. In search for a more understated look the "7" has been eliminated from the number plates which now have a satin finish like the mudguards. The total-black look on the side panels, mirrors, silencer brackets and footpeg guards, first introduced on MY15. The tank belt and saddle are black, padding has been added to the seat to improve comfort, red stitching with and embroidered Moto Guzzi eagle completes the retro style. The completely re-engineered engine still relies on the engineering that made the Moto Guzzi V750 a success among riders in 1977. Since then the engine has been continuously updated yet stays faithful to the original genial layout introduced by Italian engineer Lino Tonti in the 70s. While maintaining the classic transversal 90° V-twin configuration, the engine is now comprised of more than 70% new components. Cutting-edge technological solutions improve functionality, provide greater torque and power even at low rpms, and make the V7 more efficient, with higher fuel economy and reduced emissions. The fuel tank brings with it a superior metal construction is light and allows a record fuel capacity for a bike of this size with 5.8 gallons which, together with reduced consumption, ensures a range of up to 310 miles. This is further proof of the design philosophy that has guided the entire V7 family: engineering innovation is always intended to restore pleasure to the rider of gripping a real, resounding metal tank in true Moto Guzzi tradition. As with all of Moto Guzzi's on-road motorcycles, the V7 II Racer ABS comes with a two-year manufacturer's warranty. This is Moto Guzzi's tribute to the fiftieth anniversary of the V7 and, for this reason, it is a truly special version. Produced in a numbered edition limited to 750 units, V7 III Anniversario is built on the V7 III Special base, from which it is distinguished by numerous details, starting with the dedicated graphics characterized by the prestigious, chromium finished fuel tank that hosts the refined, gold colored Moto Guzzi eagle, combined with a brand new genuine leather saddle. The locking fuel cap in made from billet aluminium, as are the steering yoke risers that bear the laser incised model serial number. The polished aluminium mudguards, the chromium plated steel rear grab handle and the wheel rims with exclusive polished channels and grey hubs are highly prestigious. All of these details work together to make the V7 III Anniversario a motorcycle with an almost hand-crafted refinement for true collectors. 2016 Moto Guzzi V7 II Stornello Scrambler ABS (NEW)A TRUE FACTORY SPECIAL Many of this bike's parts are made in valuable and lightweight aluminium, such as the injector covers and the side panels, both anodised in black; the steel handlebars are also done in the same "dark matt" finish. The offroad look is completed by the fork dust boots, indispensable for protecting the stanchions from dust along adventurous routes and by the offroad footpegs kit, fitted with aluminium extensions that provide better grip for the rider's soles during use on the road. The kit includes the rear brake terminal, also longer and made in aluminium. The number holders represent a widespread classic element on competition bikes from the '70s era and already an element on the V7 II Racer with the number "7", which for Moto Guzzi was dear to the 250 world champion Enrico Lorenzetti. There are three on the V7 II Stornello, made in satin finish aluminium and enhanced by a laser inscribed V7 II Stornello logo. The set of three number holders perfectly matches the fantastic pair of mudguards, also in hand brushed aluminium. These are probably one of the most prestigious and exclusive parts on the V7 II Stornello, true works of hand scribed art.  TECHNOLOGICAL AND INIMITABLE The new Stornello was built on the excellent and popular technical base of the V7 II, the second generation of the brand's best selling motorcycle, the only one in its segment that comes standard with safety systems such as ABS and Moto Guzzi traction control that can be disengaged (MGCT), as well as a six speed gearbox. Moto Guzzi V7 II, whilst keeping the stylistic personality of the previous model intact, takes a decisive and concrete step forward in terms of technical features, the engine, ergonomics, safety, construction quality, trim and riding pleasure. The technical revamping begins with the engine: launched in 2012 with the thermal part, the electronic management and engine fuel system which then continued with a newalternator and the introduction of forced lubrication with an oil pump, on the V7 II it reaches a new and further development level. The by now famous transversal 90° V-twin engine now has a new six speed gearbox with the closer first and last two ratios capable of decreasing the drop in rpm between one gear and the other, decidedly smoother, quieter and with more precise engagement. For daily riding this means a quicker response when you twist the throttle and greater comfort (thanks in part to the changes made to make the clutch softer), with lower fuel consumption. 2 V65SP's an 1983 Euro version that was fully restored in 2011 with 2,000 kilometers since and an 1984 US version that runs but needs some work and has 4,875 original miles on it.My Dad spent $19,000 canadien to restore the 83 and then shipped it to me as a gift.I bought the 84 as a parts bike, but soon realised it was too nice to part out. Both are shaft drive, with 5 speed gearboxes. Both also have the Guzzi linked front and rear brakes which I love.In November, I had the local Guzzi dealer go through the 83 to tune and make sure all was perfect for $690.00While at the dealer, I fell in love with the new V-9 Bobber so now these are for sale. best to sell them together, but I am open to conversation.Shoot me an offer and lets see where it goes.
