$1000 REBATES OR 1.99% FINANCING AVAILABLE NOW!!! V9 BOBBER: MOTO GUZZI HAS CREATED A NEW SEGMENT The name V9 Bobber evokes concepts such as essentiality of line, purity of design and thus a certain original sportiness, underlined by a total matte black look. Moto Guzzi's custom sports bike effectively creates the mid-size bobber series segment, in which the V9 is currently the only representative. Bobbers appeared in the United States after World War II, created by passionate riders who stripped away all details superfluous to their goal of running fast on dirt tracks. To compete in these conditions the riders used to mount oversized tires, giving the bikes a wide footprint. Following this style, the V9 Bobber abandons all chrome plating and glossy finishes for matte black details. The side panels and fuel tank are black, with just a few graphic details in yellow or matt red. The exhaust unit, mirrors and both metal fenders are painted in dark matt. The fenders have been carefully shortened and reduced in size to make a big contribution to the minimal look of the V9 Bobber. The 16-inch matt black rims are finely decorated with a grey Moto Guzzi logo and fit larger tires 130/90 front, 150/80 rear). Even with these spectacular tires and its distinctive design, the bike still provides exceptional riding pleasure and handling. Indeed, the V9 Bobber is a true Moto Guzzi, and as such does not trade rideability for beauty. The V9 Bobber also differs from the V9 Roamer with its more crouched and sporty riding position, due to the low drag bar painted black and the long saddle. The saddle height is only 30.3 in (770 mm), and if you add to this the exceptionally low curb weight of 438 lbs. (199 Kg), you can easily imagine the level of comfort, control and rider pleasure offered by the V9 Bobber. The V9 Roamer and the V9 Bobber have a new power unit, as usual built at the Moto Guzzi plant in Mandello del Largo. This is of course a 90° transverse V-twin air and oil cooled engine, a set-up used in all current Moto Guzzi engines, albeit with different engine capacities and performance, which provides excellent riding dynamics and a unique sound. It was developed with the explicit aim of maximizing torque and elasticity, key aspects for ensuring riding pleasure and on road fun. Starting from the bottom of the engine, the new aluminum crankcase stiffened at the key points, has a new oil pan and an inertia calibrated crankshaft for liveliness and the correct engine braking. Inside the lubrication system is designed to dispose of the greater heat capacity and reduce power absorption to the benefit of both performance and fuel consumption. The ventilation system reduces power loss due to pumping within the crank chambers and a new low flow oil pump that absorbs less power.

TAKING DEPOSITS NOW! Produced in a numbered edition, as indicated by the plate located on the upper steering yoke, V7 III Racer is not only the most sporty of the range, but also the one with the most prestigious parts, that once again demonstrate Moto Guzzi's ability to create true custom models. There are numerous technical and aesthetic differences that distinguish it from the previous version and from the other V7 III models. As for the stylistic aspects, V7 III Racer introduces a new graphic for the satin finish chromium fuel tank where the red eagle is prominently displayed. This feature is reminiscent of the “Rosso Corsa” colour chosen to paint the frame and the swingarm: an explicit reminder of the first 1971 V7 Sport series, nicknamed “red frame”.  The V7 III Racer's sporty nature is emphasized by its semi-handlebars and its splendid, humped saddle. In accordance with tradition, the Racer has a single-seater sport bike look, but in reality, this new version is approved for two-up riding. In fact, it has pillion foot pegs and, as before, the seat cover can be easily removed when necessary.  One of the most distinctive features of this “factory special” worth a mention is the widespread use of anodized black aluminium. This hand-crafted treatment, which requires superb artisan skill, characterises the new side panels and the throttle body guards, whereas the new front number plate is made of brushed aluminium.  The spoked wheel rims have black channels and red Moto Guzzi stickers like the other sport models from the brand, including the Audace muscle bike. Other premium components that stand out are the set-back footpegs machined from solid billets, the lightened steering stem and the steering yoke guard.  The most important technical innovation is constituted by the pair of Öhlins shock absorbers, adjustable in spring preload and in rebound and compression, that ensure tighter performance on the road in sport riding.

TAKING DEPOSITS NOW! V7 III Stone now has stronger and more personal aesthetic connotations than its predecessor. Eclectic and essential, it foregoes any chromium parts, embracing the darkness of its matt black paintwork that goes well with the graphic dedicated only to the V7 III Stone of the saddle, fitted with a passenger grab strap. It is, however, available in other attractive, satin finish colours inspired by typical '70s shades: Nero Ruvido, Azzurro Elettrico, Verde Camouflage and Giallo Energico. The total “dark matt” look characterizes the V7 III and distinguishes it from the other versions, but that is not the only difference.  V7 III Stone is the only one of the “four-of-a-kind” to have spoked wheels and single circular display instrumentation. The front fender has also been shortened in order to highlight the essential look of this model.

V9 ROAMER: MOTO GUZZI'S COSMOPOLITAN CUSTOMVersatility has always been a key factor in the success of custom Moto Guzzis. Guzzi enthusiasts have ridden the big California as well as the small Nevada down busy city streets and, with a few modifications for luggage, on long and adventurous journeys. The new V9 Roamer picks up on the legacy of the legendary Nevada 750, still in the range, with updates, after over 20 years. Glamorous, easy, convenient and rewarding to ride, like all Moto Guzzi, the V9 Roamer is the Italian custom bike dedicated to the citizens of the world. The Piaggio Group Style Centre developed the design, with input from the PADC (Piaggio Advanced Design Center) in Pasadena (California), the birthplace of motorcycle trends that spread to the corners of the earth. The V9 Roamer is a superb combination of a classic and essential style with high-level finishing’s, showing off the unique architecture of the new 850 twin-cylinder. Great care has gone into the details of the new wheel rims (19" front and 16" rear) painted in matt black and treated with a diamond-cut finish, as well as the new multi-function digital dashboard with a single circular dial. On board comfort is provided by a comfortable and relaxed riding position, which is nevertheless active and suited to getting the most out of the ride qualities of the V9 Roamer. The long padded seat, decorated with the Moto Guzzi logo stitched with grey thread has a ground clearance of just 30.5 in (775 mm) and is combined with a raised chrome handlebar and the correct placement of the forged aluminum footrests. This triangulation thus offers all bikers riding comfort, ease of handling of the vehicle when stationary and feeling during dynamic riding. The V9 also continues Moto Guzzi's successful tradition of keeping the overall weight to a minimum. If the V7 II and California 1400 are already among the lightest bikes in their respective segments. The V9's curb weight of 438 lbs. (199 Kg) is a true record for its class. The reduced mass, combined with the V9 Roamer's superb riding quality and great low-end torque offered by the new 850 two-cylinder, gives feeling, handling and unique riding pleasure. The V9 Roamer is a true mid-size light motorcycle, not just for people who love and know Moto Guzzi motorcycle culture, but also for anyone who has always loved the design of custom motorcycles, but has never bought one because of the weight and poor handling of almost all models in the sector.

The tank belt and saddle are black, padding has been added to the seat to improve comfort, red stitching with and embroidered Moto Guzzi eagle completes the retro style. This new V7 II Racer is all about the details, and new brake and clutch levers, have been redesigned in order to achieve better ergonomics. This is the closest to the original V7 concept, not only because it shares its name with the first V7 signed by Lino Tonti, but because if faithfully cites the same riding philosophy, that of a touring bike with sophisticated finishings and exclusive technical solutions. Created in 2008, the V7 Classic won over enthusiasts with its design inspired by the famous forerunners, V7 Special and Sport from the seventies, but combined with the technology and usability of a modern Moto Guzzi. Subsequently, in 2009, the V7 Café Classic contributed to the success of the V7 Classic, followed the next year by the exclusive V7 Racer, first appearing as a show bike at EICMA 2009 and then going into mass production due to unanimous demand from the markets, exceeding 1000 units sold by a wide margin. Today, the Moto Guzzi heritage in combination with the current full-blown relaunch of the brand, is the inspiration behind the new V7 Classic. A bike with a strong character, which derives from the interpretation of a concept of essential beauty, hailing to the style of the original V7, but with all the modern technology that the legendary ancestor could never have.Modern technical equipment, chassis and a Euro3 750cc engine, the line of the fuel tank hails to the old V7 Classic, running narrow and streamlined along the tubes of the frame to meet the seat, perfectly flat and mounted solid with the rear mudguard. The storage compartments on the sides blend into the style of the famous ancestor, with the same side view. -Custom Tank (Brushed Aluminum) -Agostini Slip-Ons -V7 Racer Foot Pegs & Clip-Ons -Tail Tidy Kit with LED Tail Light -CRG Bar-End Mirrors NEWPORT ITALIAN 1536 Newport Blvd. Costa Mesa, CA 92627 Ph. 949-515-8377

The Moto Guzzi "small block" 90-degree V-Twin, a.k.a. the V7, has a long story behind it. The engine started life in 1977 in the V35 and V50, with 350 and 500cc displacements. Plagued by a number of basic faults forced into the project by then-Moto Guzzi and Benelli chieftain Alejandro DeTomaso, the compact Twin reached positive maturity when it was enlarged to 650 and later 750cc. Never a high-powered engine, the Moto Guzzi V7's strong points lay in its compactness and light weight. When Piaggio took over, major development work was concentrated on the legendary "big block." But it was quickly realized that the V7 still retained good marketing potential as an "entry-level unit with great personality" once it could be fitted to a properly styled family of accessibly priced models.Everything to make that happen was already on the shelves: a fuel-injected evolution of the 750cc V7 unit, a classic-looking steel tube double-cradle frame, and the same tank and seat created back in the early '70s for the legendary V7 Sport. The new V7 family of models was an instant success by today's Moto Guzzi standards and, above all, proved worth the investment required to refurbish its dated components, starting with the engine. The V7 induction system has been completely revised, going to a single Y-shaped 38mm throttle body that splits into two 36mm runners, each with an individual injector, leading to larger valves. The single throttle body inhales much cooler air than its previous counterpart, thanks to the relocation of the airbox to a more rational and efficient position. The result is more efficient filling of each cylinder through the whole range of usable revs, starting from as low as 2000 rpm. The V7 has also received new lighter, stronger pistons sporting thinner, low-friction rings, and a vastly redesigned Heron-type combustion chamber that bumps compression ratio from a too-mild 9.2:1 to a more credible 10.2:1. This required larger fins at the heads and cylinders for increased cooling, resulting in a stronger look for the whole unit. More importantly, the revised V7 delivers performance that I would definitely describe as much more rewarding, even beyond the Moto Guzzi-issued numbers of 51 horsepower at 6200 rpm and 42.8 foot-pounds torque at 5000 rpm. The Moto Guzzi V7 Classic is stylish, useful, charismatic and simply a nice motorcycle to ride and own and, for the money, that's accomplishment enough. The Moto Guzzi V7 Classic's remapped Nevada 744cc twin may be soft but it's eager, willing and flexible. On paper, 48bhp seems fairly weedy, but the reality is that it's spread so evenly that it's actually a fun and fruity, if a bit run of the mill, roadster.Deliciously executed. The Moto Guzzi V7 Classic's paint is deep and creamy plus there's a myriad of details ranging from the chromed brakes and gear pedals and neat twin horns to the understated but classy mirror-finish pillion grab handles under the seat. The Moto Guzzi V7 Classic exudes class. The filler-cap is a beautifully crafted aircraft-esque alloy affair, the clocks are all new (by Marelli) twin Veglia-style dials, the headlamp is fully-chromed, there's quality switchgear and mirrors and a classically-styled seat (with 'Moto Guzzi' emblazoned on its rump). A stock Bonnie, by comparison, seems basic and cheesy. Newport Italian 1536 Newport Blvd. Costa Mesa, CA 92627 Tel. 949-515-8377
