Im selling my 07 kx450f due to my purchase of a new 2016 kx450f. My original plan was to turn this into a woods bike after picking up the 16, but I've decided to buy a 2-stroke for woods riding instead. I am a maintenance junky, so this bike has been kept in prestine condition. The bike has been washed/lubed after every ride. I did a full rebuild on the motor once I had the thought of making it a woods bike. There was nothing wrong with the motor before the rebuild, I simply decided I wanted a completely fresh motor and could do a build without any downtime from riding since I now have the 16. So basically, I spent $1500 on the motor just to decide to sell the bike a week a couple of weeks later. Lucky for the new owner I guess. The motor received a new OEM spec HotRods crank, new bearings and seals, new OEM Kawasaki piston and rings, and a new OEM Kawasaki cylinder. Aftermarket parts include:- Pro Circuit rear shock linkage- Factory Connection rear shock spring (suspension set for 185lb rider)- Works Connection engine plugs- Works Connection Brake reservoir caps- Twin Air filter- Renthal sprokets- Renthal R1 chain- Works Connection fuel/air screw- CV4 radiator hoses- Galfer stainless steel brake lines- Boyseen Quickshot- Applied upper triple clamp- Works Connection radiator braces- carbon fiber frame guardsThe bike will also come with a spare set of plastics, front tire, tall seat, seat cover, a second Twin Air filter, oil filters, OEM upper triple clamp, and 2 new graphic kits. Headlining the technological charge, the KX450F features an all new Launch Control Mode, which is tuned to maximize traction out of the starting gate. This is accomplished without sacrificing any of the mid-range grunt or straight-line speed that made the KX450F famous. Highlights The 2011 highlights begin with the Supercross-winning DNA of last year s bike. Shifting into third gear automatically deactivates Launch Control Mode and returns the ignition timing to the parameters of the installed ignition map.
