This is a completely original 82 , bought this bike 2 years ago have not touched it with paint , it came , to me with new tires full service all fluids , brake pads everything works like new , kick stand alert, signals, high low beam, horn, gauges, still has the factory cable lock, the pipes are the nicest I've ever seen on a gpz , tank is near flawless , tires were brand new 2 years ago and I've put approx 200 mi. on them , mirrors original and have slight cracks on backside both in the same place above swivel ball but they stay in place while under way, seat has no tears or loose seams,all decals are original,plastic side covers have a little wear from seat contact, engine covers left and right have slight scratches , the pictures I've provided show all blemishes. I am not a dealer or fixer uper , I run a construction business and don't have time for a lot of emailing back and forth, would prefer to sell this bike to somebody that comes and looks at it in person I will talk on the phone or text when I have time. 1984 Kawasaki GPz 550. Black and red color scheme. Tires are in good shape. Has a Header, High compression pistons, and a Stage 3 carb jet kit. . I bought it in from a private seller about 10 years ago who disassembled it to restore it but lost interest in it. 1983 Kawasaki GPz 550-H for sale. This is an unmolested, original very clean example of a 1983 GPz that is a great survivor. This is an example of a classic 1980's Japanese Sport Bike. Everything works as it should. This was a donation bike, was garage kept and the bike has a clear California title. All items except brake pads and tires are original equipment. The GPz has an inline 4 cylinder DOHC motor with 10:1 compression and period tested top speed of 119 mph. It has a 6 speed transmission and the Uni-Trak mono-shock rear suspension. It weighs around 450 pounds wet with 3.8 gallons of fuel and gets between 45-60 mpg. I cannot emphasize enough that this is a wonderful bike to ride and is electric motor smooth. Very few of these bikes still exist that are in this condition. Payment is cash only, no checks or bank drafts. Direct wire transfer would be accepted. I can deliver to the Bay area or Los Angeles area for $100 after payment has been arranged. Only serious buyers only. Do not call me to make a low-ball offer for this wonderful bike. Very clean example of a 1982 Kawasaki GpZ 550. First year of the Unitrack mono shock! Great example of a classic 1980's Japanese sport bike. Everything works as it should. Asking $1550. This is a rare model GPZ 550, six gears. CafÃ© racer ready to go, or restore it to original. I left tank and fender painted solid so you can add your own striping detail as desired. Bike has a beautiful deep throaty growl. Fires up cold, shifts smoothly through the cycle all 6 gears, no electrical problems. No dings in tank, two small dings in one muffler. Paint on engine has now some wear since photos taken. Original seat has some slight tears but is if you recover it it'll be beautiful, pan is in great condition. True mileage is unknown.
