1999 Honda Valkyrie Black The Honda Valkyrie was manufactured by Honda from 1996 to 2003 and then reintroduced in November of 2013 as a redesign of the GL 1800 Gold Wing. The Valkyrie engine is a 1,520 cubic centimeters (93 cu in) liquid cooled, horizontally opposed flat-six engine transplanted from Honda’s Gold Wing model, unlike the V-twin engine commonly found on “cruiser” style motorcycles. In its transplant from the Goldwin, the most notable engine changes were the camshaft and the change to six individual 28 mm carburetors, one for each cylinder, changes which increased power and torque. The Valkyrie was made in the U.S.A. at the Honda motorcycle plant in Marysville, Ohio. Also called: GL 1500C, F6C Engine: 1,520 cc liquid cooled SOHC Flat-6 71mm bore x 64 mm stroke. (dry) 721 lb. (327 kg) (wet) Fuel capacity: 20 L (4.4 imperial gal, 5.3 US gal) This bike is in excellent shape. Engine and transmission are perfect. 25,225 miles and has never been dropped or down. Garage kept. It comes with Highway pegs, Wind deflectors, hard bags that lock, Rear trunk, Back rest, Trailer hitch with wiring, Running lights, Pin Stripes, Rear Mud Flap, and a luggage rack that shows some chrome wear. Very little wear on the tires and new brakes 3 months ago. It’s in perfect running condition and needs nothing to ride. No mechanical problems and no major physical blemishes. 2000 Honda Valkyrie Tourer. This has been the best bike ever, Comfortable, powerful, reliable. It has carried me across the interstates, across the Carolina mountains, down the dragon WHILE pulling the trailer, across the snowy devide between Cherokee and Pigeon Forge, to Liberty island then on to Niagra Falls and NEVER failed me. It has never been to a dealer for repairs, only tires, battery and brake pads. It comes with the 2 trailers pictured and a spare cargo box. It is currently configured for a solo rider but does come with the matching Corbin rear seat, matching rear fender chap and Honda backrest. I have run synthetic oil since conception, there are 2 sets of auxiliary lights that operate off of a switch box mounted on the front brake reservoir, there is a mounted outlet for your phone or GPS that mounts between the speedo and tach. The big trailer is 7ft wide inside the rales, has D tie down rings from the C-130 cargo plane, a diamond plate cargo box and cross rale that centers the bike over the 2500# axle, 15 inch rims with full size spare. Shipping is not available but delivery may be for a fee.
