Harley Davidson Sportster 883XL(on title)1300cc Upgrade You are making an offer on a 2002 Custom Harley Davidson Sportster 883XL,which has been upgraded to a 1300cc Monster Machine. Recently the bike was taken photos of for an internationally known Motorcycle Enthusiast Magazine. The photos being used are the "outtakes". This Harley is and has been from day 1 the best experience I have EVER had with a motorcycle, and I have been riding for over 20 years. Everything from Crotch-Rockets to Cruisers and this bike is second to none. It starts immediately upon hitting the ignition and doesn't stop until you stop it. There are many many new parts... -OHV V2 Evolution Engine (Enhanced to 1250cc) -Custom Black Powder Coated heads -New Air Filter / Chrome and Black Air Cover -New Cams and Pistons and Rings -New Front and Rear Brakes (About 25miles on them) -New Front and Rear Tires (About 25 miles on them) -New H-D Clutch -New H-D Clutch and Throttle Cables -New H-D Hand Grips -Custom Iron Cross Rearview Mirrors -New Road6 Customs "Holy Roller 12" Ape Hangers (Handlebars) -New Vance and Hines "Straight Shot" High Performance Pipes -New H-D Belt -New H-D Clutch and Brake Levers -New H-D Gas Tank (Original Tank(s) on Sportsters are just too DAMN SMALL!) -New Black Powder Coated highway/Engine Guard w/ Used H-D Footpegs This Sportster is a GREAT LOOKIN' and FAST MOVING MACHINE. This is a great bike, no matter how you cut it, though I am not sure it is such a great bike for the faint of heart. This bike moves and it has looks and POWER. This H-D lives up to the Harley name and w/ the upgrades has more Torque than a rider w/ less experience will be ready for. Though it has been babied by me for the most part, I will admit, once or twice I have SMOKED other "bigger" Harleys off the line when the light turned green, but those times are few and far between. The bike was seen by an editor of a magazine that specializes in Motorcycles and it was his being impressed with what I had done that really helped build up the ego... This is 2002, the 99th year of Harley Davidson Motorcycles Sportster 883XL, at least it began that way... Now, it is just a sexy, head turning TORQUE MONSTER! Enjoy, the engine has about 3000 miles on it... ***At the time of auction, whether it is BUY NOW, or BEST OFFER or you win the Auction, there must be a deposit of $500.00. This will lock in the fact that the H-D Sportster is yours. If you are NOT available for LOCAL PICK-UP, I choose to use U*SHIP.
