1973 Yamaha TX500 Cafe Racer/Street Tracker excellent condition only 6300 Original Miles on the bike. New tires, new battery, custom cafe seat and LED lighting. Bike runs and rides excellent, has a digital dash/speedo with speed sensor mounted on rear for clean front end. Currently registered and ridden. Clutch cable is frayed so have not ridden it much lately and will need replacement. Bike is beautiful for 42 years old has small dent on left side of tank could be pushed out by a Paintless Dent guy most likely. I will include some spare parts from the build and a shop manual. I love this bike because it is not the typical CB that everyone has now it is rare and unique and super fun. $100.00 non refundable deposit required by paypal, rest must be in cash or certified funds. 1973 Honda CB500 Cafe Racer Original mileage unknown since new speedometer was added. This bike was restored and modified for street riding. Everything on the bike was checked and replaced/readjusted as needed. Electric start. Starts and runs well. Last modification done by European Cycle Services (845) 725-7707. Very smooth ride for a 30+ year old bike. Has awesome acceleration and just sounds/looks great. -Engine rebuilt replacing main seal. -Wiring sorted -Custom vinyl seat. -MAC 4-1 black headers and muffler -Adjustable cafe style handlebars. -New Grips and side mirrors. -New 2.5" Black mini speedometer and tachometer gauges. -LED taillight. -New small front front and rear signals -Tank and tail were custom painted Molly Orange by RM Customs in New Patz, NY -Points and condensers were replaced -12" rear chrome springs and shocks -New Velocity stacks - carbs retuned - valves adjusted -New battery invested over 7k A $250.00 deposit is due at the conclusion of the auction. For sale is my buddy's 1986 Harley 883 sportster cafe racer. I'm listing it for him simply because he is so burned out he doesn't know which way is up. The bike has 20,856 miles on it, and ran good when parked. Due to it sitting it may need a battery and definitely fresh fuel ,maybe a tune up simply cause today's fuel is crap. I put a battery charger on it and everything lights up, the bike cranks, starts and runs with a shot of starter fluid down the carb........the fuel in the tank smelled terrible so i drained it. I ran the bike off a fuel can cause i didnt want to run stale gas into the carb. As you can see he was going with a 70's cafe racer look, the bike has a fiberglass seat pan, clubman bars, bar end mirrors, a trimmed front fender and some one off exhaust tips and rear shock risers to give it a perky look. There is a box of stock parts he took off the bike. Factory handle bars, drag bars etc. seems he couldn't decide which direction to go styling wise so in the end he rolled it into a corner of his garage and it's been sitting since. Personally I don't think this is too big a project it........but hey I'm a car guy so what do I know about bikes...........things that seem to need attention.....turn signals lights need to be mounted, fresh fuel and a tune up.... ..... a thorough going over to check for loose items.......simple stupid stuff........but we all know when you're burned out, every little thing is like climbing a mountain, so i've been tasked with helping him moove the bike along to someone that'll finish it and ride it. Bike has a clear transferable title and is sold as is...........bike must be paid for in full before it leaves our possession.......winner is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs.
