2001 Ducati ST4 in excellent mechanical condition Recently (11/8/2016) serviced and checked out by the good folks at Mammoth Motorsports New tires (+/- 1,000 miles) and brake pads After-market silencers, seat, windscreen and grip heater (stock silencers and seat sold with the bike also) Only 21,600 miles The bike is very clean and has been well maintained Clean title (in hand) and registered through July 2017 Two cosmetic blemishes (see photos): around the right side mirror and on top of the right side pannier The bike runs and rides perfectly!
This was my daily ride for years and is a great all around machine. Unfortunately, I took it to a local Ducati mechanic for belt replacement, pulley bearings and valve service; then 500 miles later it had a issue. While sitting at idle (approx. 1000 rpm) the horizontal cylinder stopping running and the bike would not re-fire. I pulled belt covers off and found a shredded belt and both the cams (on H.C.) stick when turning them over. From what I can tell the head will need to be pulled and rebuilt. I started to pull it down to fix and then gift it to my son, but he was a victim of an impatient driver and now needs help with medical bills rather than another motorcycle. I'm the fourth owner and have run hardly 2000 miles on it.(Totally about 32000 miles) The guy before me was a bike fanatic and had maintained it in perfect condition. Full maintenance records and receipts kept.Side hard bags, Ducati original bag liners included .Bike is fitted with Ducati Performance EFI chip, Carbon Performance Pipes and Heated grips .Mount/Balance Pirelli Angel GT Sport Tires (Under 2000 miles on them, so practically new)Bike has always been garaged and runs like a charm . It has never been dropped either, as I already said, you cannot find another ST4 as well maintained. Registered till July 2017, so a whole year with zero problems.This is without a doubt the best ST4 you can lay your hands on. I'm asking $3900 (firm) which is a lot less than what the cycle is actually worth.

Yellow 2000 Ducati ST4 for sale $3500 (clean title in my name) I have moved on to cruiser life so I am selling my Ducati. This bike has been very well cared for and has plenty of life left in it. I have the service records for it and it has always had the proper recommended major services. It currently has 44.xxx miles on it. Last major service was done at Reno's Kansas City at 43,399 including the following. Valves, belts, plugs, Hydraulic flush, 2 rocker arms replaced, chain maintenance and a complete new rear brake assembly. Oil change at 44,262 miles It has aftermarket pipes and I put 1" bar risers to make those long trips more comfortable. Good battery that is always on the tender that comes with it. It also has 1 matching, locking hard bag that comes with it. I think it is the right side but can't remember because I never installed it. This bike is in really great condition for its age and mileage. It does have a very small oil leak and a little crack toward the back of the seat and it is due for new rear rubber. Tires have plenty of wear left, chain in good condition also (lubed every 2.5k miles, no chain slap or other issues). Fuel injected for flawless winter starts, always gets up on the 2nd or 3rd crank. 2001 Ducati St 4, 2001 Ducati ST4 Sport Touring for sale or trade Touring bike with ample sports bike DNA. Cycle World listed it as "one of the best used bikes." Fast and nimble for a sport touring motorcycle. Includes pictured factory panniers for travelling; they do quickly detach for convenience. The windscreen has been replaced by a Zero Gravity unit, which really enhances the riding experience, especially at higher speeds. The clip-ons have been replaced with Heli risers which ease the riding position a little. The original clip-ons are included. The bike is ridden often and runs well. It was downed by previous owner, so it's not perfect. It does have plenty of curb appeal, though, drawing lots of compliments! Wife says "no room for two bikes in the garage." $2,900.00
