2010 Ducati Monster 696, Looking for something light and nimble with enough power to take you everywhere you need to go? Look no further than this Monster 696! The 7500 mile valve service was completed, so no worries about that added expense. Tires were replaced around 200 miles ago too! With an already installed license plate relocation kit, the back end has been cleaned up nicely. Otherwise, this bike remains completely stock and ready for you to make it your own! The engine is the "Desmodue", a 90° V-twin, 696 cc (42.5 cu in),78.9 hp, air-cooled engine with desmodromic valve actuation. A slipper clutch prevents locking of the rear wheel through clumsy down-shifting. Although Ducatis often use a dry clutch, this model has a 21-plate oil-bath "wet clutch" which weighs less, gives quieter operation, and needs less maintenance. The Monster has a steel trellis frame and a lightweight aluminum subframe. The dry weight is 355 lb. The seat height is 30 in, which may make it easier for some riders to plant their feet firmly on the ground. The Monster has Brembo brakes. The front has 320 mm floating discs have 4-piston, radially mounted calipers. The 245 mm rear floating disc have a twin-piston caliper.
