2016 KTM 300 XC, 2016 KTM 300 XC Unrivalled Power-To-Weight Ratio With enough power to excel on all sorts of tracks and terrain, combined with an extremely lightweight chassis, the 300 XC has one of the best power-to-weight ratios in it's class. The unrivalled power-to-weight ratio of the lightweight 2-stroke engine makes it a true contender against the more complex 4-strokes. For MY 2016 the 300 XC features detail improvements and new colors and graphics, but basically retains the same chassis and engine specification as MY 2015. Features May Include: ENGINE The powerful KTM 300 SX engine unites an unbeatable power-to-weight ratio with outstanding performance and extremely easy handling. CYLINDER The cylinder of the 300 XC is fitted with a sophisticated TVC (Twin Valve Control) power valve, providing adjustable power characteristics. The power character can be changed within a few seconds thanks to two supplied springs for different tracks and rider preference. CLUTCH The KTM DDS (Damped Diaphragm Steel) clutch is fitted with a diaphragm spring, which allows implementation of an internal rubber damping system. Together with a lightweight steel basket and the Brembo hydraulic system the DDS clutch offers maximum reliability, excellent modulation and light lever pull. LINKAGE/SHOCKABSORBER The linkage system of the 300 XC features a progressive curve with a high initial rate ensuring good stability. The high-end WP 5018 shock absorber guarantees outstanding response and damping characteristics. Compression and rebound damping can be adjusted to the track conditions and the rider's preferences. HANDLEBAR The 300 XC is equipped with a tapered handlebar made of high-strength aluminum by NEKEN, which is fixed in a new rubber damped handlebar clamp allowing the handlebar to be mounted in two different positions. A new, larger handlebar pad protects the rider in case of a crash. AIRBOX At the same time, the design of the airbox guarantees optimum protection of the air filter from dirt plus maximum airflow for the highest performance. Quick replacement of the Twin Air filter, without tools and in a matter of seconds, has long been an unrivalled KTM standard. BRAKES High-tech Brembo brakes have always been standard equipment on KTM off-road bikes, and now are combined with newly designed and weight-reduced Wave discs made by GALFER featuring improved heat resistance. Weight reduction is 63g on the front disc, and 32 g for the rear. This is the ultimate solution in braking technology. WHEELS The 300 XC is fitted with lightweight, CNC-machined hubs, high-end Giant rims and black spokes with lightweight aluminum nipples providing maximum stability at minimum weight. The latest Dunlop Geomax AT81 tires guarantee perfect traction and outstanding performance.

The dominance with which this machine has won one world championship title after another is certainly unrivaled... Since Tony Cairoli s first win in the 2010 MX1 World Championship, his first year as a KTM factory rider on the 350 SX-F, the Red Bull athlete from Sicily has dominated the class with five consecutive world championships at the top tier of motocross aboard this nimble, but powerful bike including many, many race wins. The bike itself comprises of almost as much power as a 450, but with the agility of a 250 so the basic idea is easily summarized, and has been a concept with success from the start. Features May Include: ENGINE The new DOHC (Double Overhead Camshaft) engine of the 350 SX-F features a completely new construction in order to make it even more compact and powerful than before. Fitted with the latest electronic fuel injection system and electric starter, it has a very wide usable speed range, high performance and incredibly efficient rideability. The new design made the engine 20 mm shorter than previously, while reducing the weight by 1 kg to only 27.2 kg. CYLINDER AND PISTON In the redesigned and shorter cylinder, with a bore of 88 mm, works a weight reduced forged bridged box-type piston made by CP. Its new piston crown geometry is adapted to the new high-compression combustion chamber and stands out with its extra rigid structure, combined with a low weight. The compression ratio is at 14:1. Thanks to the low oscillating masses, the engine offers extremely lively characteristics. TRANSMISSION The new engine is fitted with an all-new and weight reduced, five-speed gearbox. It features the same gear ratio as the previous model, but has wider gear sprockets, featuring a special surface treatment on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears for improved reliability. One of the new and special features on the bike is an advanced NO-DIRT gear lever design, which prevents dirt from blocking the joint of the lever and guarantees a safe activation of the transmission. MONOSHOCK The new generation of monoshock made by WP Suspension has been developed for the new SX models in conjunction with the new frame and swingarm architecture, including the reworked linkage system and the new WP forks. The linkage system has also been reworked with a revised geometry and longer pull rods, which was tested last season in most of the KTM factory bikes. 2014 Kawasaki Kx 450, Second owner bike has less than 10 hrs on it. Has brand new FMF pipe and new Dunlop 32's with two laps on them also have original stock tires that are still good. On the third lap I cased a double and broke both ankles. I bought full set of plastic that I didn't need for my plate's that I didn't need cause I never raced it.
