Rides and runs great. The forks have recently been rebuilt same as the carburetor plus the suspension has new seals. Newer tires and a newer oil tank. The top end has also been recently been rebuilt. This exceptionally clean 1999 Honda XR250R was purchased in nearly new condition several years ago and has been lightly and infrequently ridden since it's purchase. I installed an aluminum skidplate, hand guards, a Wolfman enduro tank bag, an aluminum luggage rack, and flexible enduro mirrors. It also has an exhaust power tip which reduces exhaust restriction and noticeably improves low end power and throttle response. The stock baffle is also available with the bike. Although the bike is not technically street legal it is titled for the street and has been ridden on the street for occasionally for several years without incident. A switch which actuates the tail light provides a brake light in the daytime when the front brake is used. I am selling the bike because I simply don't ride it as much as I thought I would. I rode dirt bikes when I was younger and thought I'd give it another try after age 50. I had some fun but don't really have anyone to ride with or the time to travel to an off road area, ride, and get everything cleaned up. I have two adventure bikes for travel and dirt roads and am content with that. Other than some slight dirt stains on the white plastic this bike is nearly new and is a simple air-cooled, stone-axe simple and reliable play or woods bike that needs very little maintenance or care. It is kick start only so there is no battery to replace or crank until dead when you are miles from a road in the woods. I paid $2495 for the bike before installing the accessories and have tried to price it fairly. The price is fairly firm depending on ad response.

Selling my 2008 KX250F. Finding out very quickly that I don't have the time to take the dirt bike out as often as I want with college and working. Bike is in great shape, well taken care of with oil changes and clutch plate replacements. Graphics are starting to peel off a bit but nothing else is wrong. Has Renthal chain and sprockets, front and rear, aftermarket clutch plates, Yoshimura slip-on exhaust, and pro-taper bars. Including the bike stand it's sitting on in the pictures.
