I am selling my 2005 Thunder Mountain Blackhawk 240. I have had this bike for 7 years I am the second owner. It has a 103 with 26,800 miles on it. This bike has been gone through from top to bottom, chrome extras and a custom paint job added. Runs and rides great. Bike has always been garage kept and services done at High Country Harley in Frederick Colo. Tires were replaced and have +/- 1000 miles on them and are in great shape. IT IS FEATURED IN THE HARLEY DAVIDSON BOOK, "HARLEY DAVIDSON SPORTSTER" by ALLEN GIRDLER and RON HUSSEY. (SEE PHOTOS BELOW) THIS BIKE FEATURES A SET OF 1976 XR750 CASES. ENGINE UPGRADED USING DOUBLE-WIDE SUPERBLEND BEARINGS THAT ARE SELF ALIGNING. THE FRAME IS FROM C&J...AND THE SUSPENSION IS "WHITE POWER" ORIGINALLY A SWEDISH FIRM THAT BUILT MOTOCROSS PARTS, NOW ADAPTED TO HARLEYS. THE TANK AND SEAT ARE REPLICAS MADE OF CARBON FIBER....AND A CORBIN CUSTOM PAD. I have a 2005 Thunder Mountain Custom Black Hawk 240 for sale. This bike is very clean garaged kept and well taken care of. It has 26,877 miles on it regular oil changes done at High Country Harley. Both tires front and rear are Metzler that were replaced 1 year ago I have put 500 miles on them since. Martin Bros Medustas exhaust, Auto primary and cam tensioner, Custom ghost flame paint job, upgraded headlight, led turn signals with smoked lenses, newly covered seat. 2002 Ron Simms Custom Motorcycle........Bike has less than 200 miles since it was completely redone! Better than new and in showroom condition. 131 cubic inch, 140 horsepower motor, Jims 6 speed transmission, Legend Air Ride, BLD open belt drive, PM: wheels, hand controls, caliper grips, pulley and 13 inch floating rotors, Simms pro-pipe exhaust. New Custom paint job...everything is new or redone. New parts include: all brake lines, oil lines, clutch cable, throttle cables, speedo cable, fork seals and dust covers, fork oil, rotor bolts, pulley bolts, seat pan upholstery, handlebars, hand control switches, LED light indicator lights, turn signal lenses, larger more visible tail lights, HD headlight and visor, gas caps, Twin Tech ignition switch, swing arm bump stops, sealed primary bearing, BDL clutch starter ring, airline, air ride switch, rear tire (front is like new), chrome starter, Lightning Start 450 CCA battery, compression releases, lower chrome heat shield, mirrors that are functional, belt guard and chrome exhaust heat shields. Re-chromed parts include: triple trees, hand controls, center of floating rotors, primary cover, brake light mount, front and rear axle covers and pulley, Simms handlebar clamps, rear caliper bracket and motor mount. STORZ forks were polished and anodized black. THUG motor was rebuilt and polished ($2400.00 with receipt) and bike was rewired. Bike has less than 200 miles on it since the bike was completely rebuilt, redone and repainted. The odometer now has 9878 miles, but this is not a used bike that needs to be rebuilt, refurbished or reworked...everthing is already done! Bike has clear title in hand. Too many toys and not enough time to ride. This bike is fast and loud! The original cost of the bike was $62,000.00 in 2002 and has the best of everything...you can own it at a fraction of the original cost for $11,000.00 and it has been completely redone.
