1966 Norton Other , Due to "MATCHLESS" not being one of the available posting Brand names, Norton was the next best thing, since they are extremely closely associated, as those of you aficionados know. Here is a 100% restored 1966 Matchless 750 twin cylinder. it is in stunning shape! I prefer trading toward the right '50-'56 plunger twin, but would sell outright. This is a matching numbers show-level G15 CS bike that has had over 15k invested in it and it is the last year of Matchless that was produced in the actual "Matchless" factory, before all kinds of merging of various British brands and outsourcing started to happen. Additionally, there were only 500 of these produced, so they're about as rare as hens' teeth, as for the Matchless marque. EVERYthing has been rebuilt/restored/re-worked on this classic beauty. It is a show bike in every sense, but if you wanted to ride it, get ready, because it thunders with the 750 cc motor. Recent new tires make it perfectly road-ready. Starts on about 3rd kick, dead cold. Restored Tachometer and Odometer, which shows 1450 miles since rebuild. To finish it perfectly, the bike only needs a couple of rubbers for foot-pegs, kick start and shift lever. Here is the only reference I could find that's even close to what my bike is all about: http://www.britcycle.com/bikes/forsale/JSonny_66_Nor_Match_G15CSR.htm As for my wish of a trade scenario, I'm interested ONLY in most 1956 or below BMW "plunger" type twin cylinder bikes, (not R50 or R60 or /2. Perhaps the right R69 or R69s) so let me know what you have, if this bike talks to you and we'll go from there. Boxer twins: R51/2, R51/3, 600 cc R67, R67/2, R67/3, R68 (built from 1950,1951,1952,1953,1954,1955 to 1956, '50 '51 '52 '53 '54 '55 '56) ********************************************************************** ----------------------CALLS ONLY please 5o3nine98three78six $10,900.00

FIRM price for this excellent 1969 BMW "R75/2" Conversion.(R75/6 motor with 5 speed gear box). Ride it home......even if your home is in another state, with the reliability of a post-70's power plant, but with the vibe of the great BMW classic era from 1955-1969. While it's not a "restored" you can easily see this machine is super clean and commands attention and compliments from BMW enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike . You can confidently use it as a daily rider that will give you many 10's of thousands of miles, as everything on it is in great condition. Rock solid sheet-metal with still very presentable paint and striping (with some touch-ups and no rust at all). As for reliability, most of you already know that from '70 on, oil pump, oil filter, 12V electrics & all the stuff that makes it way less tinker-intensive than a slash-2 was added, along with more horsepower and acceleration, making it very suitable for two-up cruising, w/power to spare for solo riding. A 12V system (versus 6v) also provides power for more optional accessories and brighter lighting. While most anyone can fully appreciate a bone-stock "slash-2" bike, with this you won't soon be having to disassemble a motor down to the crank every 30k miles for oil-slingers cleaning, to the tune of $1500 to $3000 each time, depending on the mechanic's rate and what else you may need or want to do while taken that far down. I have put about 2k miles on it since I've purchased it. It has completely rebuilt heads from a top San Jose based shop. Honing marks were still present on barrels when heads were installed. So as you'll hear, the engine and transmission are rock solid in every way. Perfect final drive, rebuilt carburetors (stock Bing). Updated steering head bearings. Shifts well (up or down) and makes excellent power. Alloy wheels built and sold by Buchanan with stout Stainless spokes. Near new tires front and rear. Brakes work as good as they can for the bike's weight, being drum type. Solo seat, working /5 Speedometer/Tachometer. Lights and horn work perfect. Low rise Euro bar with clean/straight levers, clean old-school grips, good electrical switches on both perches. Good starter and battery, Exhaust in great shape front to back, New swing-arm boot. Center stand only. Sheet metal very presentable, w/well below average wear for a bike this age. Tank has been re-lined. Recent fluids change. Cold-starts in seconds. No smoke at any time. When you come see it, you'll find a reliable bike that needs nothing except a new rider. Clean WA title. CALLS ONLY please as i DO NOT LIKE TEXTING. (5o3.998.three786) If you're out of state, I am willing to assist YOUR shipper with YOUR shipping arrangements. You're welcome to send a mechanic to check it all out. Test rides only with full price in my hand. Not interested in trades. $8,500.00
