This is not a recent cafe build. I don't know for sure if this bike was raced or not, but I suspect it was in the 70's. There are alot of receipts dating back to 1986, mostly electrical parts, fork parts etc. One early invoice states the engine has an S2 cam and cut pistons. There's also a Dunstall 1974 850 electrical schematic.

This bike had a restoration done many years ago, although no longer perfect and not original, she still looks great. The bike has sat for some time and just recently was taking out. I did do some servicing to get her running again for some quick videos, including changing the engine oil, cleaning the carbs, cleaning the plugs and checking there gaps, cleaning the point, new plug wires, and a new battery. When I did this all the electronics, engine, clutch, brakes, starter and trans worked like they should. I am still going to classify her as a project and not a running bike, as she may need fine tuning before riding. There is a clear FL title. The engine numbers reads 053692, the VIN plate reads 053692. I do believe the frame was originally from a V700 , please review pictures I took of the frames neck. This bike does come with a bolt on rear passenger seat, you can see pictures of it. Also this bike has a rare all chrome air box. I am going to let my slideshow pictures, auction pictures, and videos do the talking, but please if you have any questions or concerns, ask before bidding as I will be happy to answer them.

1932 Indian Chief. 99 point AMCA winners circle motorcycle last judged February of this year. Complete nut and bolt restoration. Extensive photos taken to document restoration. Peers choice winner at the Morgan Adams Concourse De elegance August 2013. Bike has been judged on 3 occasions at AMCA National Meets. This bike is rare (depression era) and only a handful exist now. None in this spectacular of condition. Engine, transmission, and all parts are in new, or better than new, condition. Technical details can be discussed in person as they are too numerous to mention. Completely stripped down for inspection and rebuild. Parts replaced: sludge tube completely cleaned out ,crankshaft bearings in both cases , lower rod bearings {still stock size} upper rod piston pin bushings , .040 over pistons fresh bore job correctly crosshatched with hastings rings, complete valve job, re-surfaced tappets, transmission original parts all in good condition new bearings for layshaft and mainshaft, inner trans cover new bearings, shifts fine, primary components were all in good shape new final drive sprocket, all seals throughout. All side covers polished and in good condition. Tri-Spark electronic ignition { strobe timed} new lucas style 6 V coils,original Webco points cover , Clay Cobb sidedraft intake manifold with 32 MM Mikuni carb, L C Fab carb top, K&N air filter. 60s C model high left exhaust pipes with no baffles, Anti-Gravity 4 cell lithium battery, 3 position key switch , new kicker and shifter levers , K&N crankcase breather filter, major engine components have been vaporblasted, a common cleaning practice used more in England than in the US including the crankcases , inner trans cover, cylinder head and rocker boxes, all of the vaporblasted parts were thoroughly washed several times before starting the engine re-build. I do not believe in glass beading aluminum engine parts as it leaves a less than desirable finish and is hard on the aluminum , with vaporblasting it leaves a very nice finish that is resistant to staining .

The bike also has carbon fiber lower fairing panels, and a set of very rare titanium expansion chambers (which were almost too pretty to install on the bike!). The stock fairing panels and exhaust are included. The only flaw in the paint is a small touched up (before I got the bike) area on the corner of the fairing near the right handlebar. It was small enough that I decided not to do anything about it. The top of the fuel tank was signed by Gianluca Galasso, who was the development rider and factory racer for Bimota during that time.
