1956 BSA GOLD STAR 500, 1956 BSA Gold Star 500 – Daytona Race Bike. Full restored and raced about 10-years ago in Classic 500 / 750 Class. 4th place. Owned and raced by Chicagoan George Malek, a well known National # 56 flat-tracker who was a Privateer and combatant in 1963 on the “Old sand beach” event and later modified a little for the 1964 Daytona Oval another two times. I has a “Factory built” very rare “Daytona sand “ air cleaner. I was told that about 6 of these per year were made by the BSA factory race department. Bobby SirKegan’s BSA had one of these air cleaners. George modified the front brake to have a scoop for races on the “Oval.” Excellent display or to race again in Classic events. Can help arrange shipping stateside or export.$ 28,500, Buzz Walneck 630-985-2097 or Email, Woodridge, Illinois.

FASTTT SALES, LLC 1963 BSA ROCKET GOLD STAR This listing is for a beautifully restored 1963 BSA Rocket Gold Star in Scrambles trim. This extraordinarily rare motorcycle was restored by Tim Bardsley of Ontario, Canada. Tim is the best on these rare BSA motorcycles...he understands them and, as you can readily see, has great attention to detail! The rarity of these motorcycles is simply in their purpose. They were built for competition and competition only! Thus, the lack of electrics, tail lamps, head lamps, etc. They were ridden hard and in most cases, the limited number built, didn't survive and were damaged in competition/practice. This one not only survived, but, was in great condition and an excellent candidate for restoration. OK, all that about competition! The bike is beautiful! Incredibly beautiful! It’s small tank and racing seat....the high exhausts and the clean, uncluttered design all contribute to one of, if not the best, competition motorcycles of the British motorcycle era. The motorcycle was comprehensively restored....meaning mechanically and cosmetically. Look at the pictures and you will see the high quality workmanship.....none better!! The motorcycle has a clear title and a Dating Certificate from the BSA Owner’s Club. You can be assured that the motorcycle is accurately restored and the numbers are correct for this motorcycle. BSA Rocket Gold Stars have long been the “sought after” British classic. This one, in Scrambles Trim, is no exception! We offer this very rare motorcycle at a reasonable $14,499. 1959 BSA Gold Star , The motor turns over and has good spark, though. It is not equipped with the battery. It has never been repainted and is all original except both fenders were rechromed. The right side badge is broken near the mounting hole. I believe the mileage to be correct. It has normal wear for a bike that is 55 years old. $8,500.00
