This extraordinarily rare motorcycle was restored by Tim Bardsley of Ontario, Canada. Tim is the best on these rare BSA motorcycles...he understands them and, as you can readily see, has great attention to detail! The rarity of these motorcycles is simply in their purpose. They were built for competition and competition only! Thus, the lack of electrics, tail lamps, head lamps, etc. They were ridden hard and in most cases, the limited number built, didn't survive and were damaged in competition/practice. This one not only survived, but, was in great condition and an excellent candidate for restoration. OK, all that about competition! The bike is beautiful! Incredibly beautiful! It’s small tank and racing seat....the high exhausts and the clean, uncluttered design all contribute to one of, if not the best, competition motorcycles of the British motorcycle era.
