Repeat later this year.With just under 15,300 miles, freshly serviced with an annual performed just 400 miles earlier in late March, a new rear tire, new front brake pads, all current BMW recalls (fuel pump & l/r switches) addressed and a complete going over and solid test ride here at Bob’s plus a completed Maryland Safety Inspection on file there is nothing left to do before a new and excited owner comes in and says “I want that beautiful bike” and signs some paperwork.When BMW sent this down the assembly line in Berlin it came equipped with Race ABS and DTC or Dynamic Traction Control plus the Gear Shift Assist. It of course also had all the other goodies these machines came with like 190 (+-) horsepower, an amazing chassis and suspension, incredible styling and fantastic ergonomics.The original and only owner then set about adding on some very sweet and useful extras; stuff like a dark tinted screen, Yoshimura fender and tag eliminators, LED turn signals, Yoshimura sliders, a Power Commander and an amazingly sweet sounds and very cool looking Taylor Made exhaust system with carbon fiber cover which alone is a $1,500 extra.
