Up for auction is 2008 BMW R1200rt its blue and in excellent condition the bike has never been dropped the only mark in it is a small scratch on the rear bag on the right i will enclose a picture of it and a few small scratches in the top bag. The bike has 41000 miles on it. Its fully loaded with the heated grips, heated seats, cd stereo with ipod or phone hookup. I didn't have the antenna installed on the bike its under the seat I used my phone all the time for my music and sometimes the radio. The cd player is ok but if you hit to many bumps or jar the bike it will skip or get stuck in a error mode then you just have to restart it and its fine I just preferred my phone cause of using the music on my phone or using Pandora or Sirius radio . The bike also has a GPS Garmin, two drivers seats one high and one low heated,a new tank bag which I never used, rear bag and pad for your passenger . The bike also has new tires, battery and tender. The only thing this bike needs is an oil change I haven't driven it much the last 2 seasons so I have just been starting it and just running around the block it only has a few thousand miles on the oil that is in it. I have only taken the bike to BMW authorized dealer. in Lititz Pa. The last time it was there they forgot to reset the computer that it was serviced. The bike has to get a recall done at the dealer a part needs changed FREE of charge I haven't had time to run it out there and have it done. I am selling my 2004 RT in order to get a model where I will not need to bend my knee at an acute angle. This is not an issue for most people but my recent full knee replacement now makes it uncomfortable past an hour or so of riding. I am the third owner, but the first owner put on the majority of the mileage. Pretty much new Michelins front and back. Piat fog lights. If you are looking for this model or a good sport touring machine, this is it. Just put on a new headlight lens protector. Bike has a new battery this Spring as well as a bike cover, oil filter wrench, mini stan for brake bleeding, intake/exhaust feeler gauges, DVD service videos, shop manual owners manual and I'll include some oil and oil filters. Not too many deals like this. Firm on price and I am not considering any trades, thanks. Obviously, serious inquiries only.
