This matching numbers 1960 BMW R50 is likely a final year model based on its identification number. BMW reportedly produced 13,510 R50's between 1955 - 1960 before beginning production of the R50/2. This bike looks very nice with tank, fenders, headlamp bucket and shock covers repainted at some point in it's history. The rear fender shows some areas that have been touched up and it looks like it used to have a fender rack or pillion seat at one point. There are no dents. The frame appears to be wearing original paint in mostly good condition for its age. Some cracking and chipping is evident, but does not detract from the bike's character. We have completed a health check report and cleaned it.
