This is a 1993 R1100RSL in showroom condition. The RSL version has the faring that goes all the way down around the pipes and is quite rare in the USA. It only has 26,000 miles (42,000km) on it and has been pampered, never down, and garage kept. I purchased it new in 1994 when I lived in Singapore so it is the European model (registers in kilometers). All recalls have been completed and all fluids including brakes were just serviced. Brand new tires with only 5 miles on them from the dealership to my home. It has the factory ABS brakes, and factory color matched panniers. Options include a Zero Gravity carbon fiber tank protector, carbon fiber protection where key goes, factory rubber protection for the bottom edge of panniers, factory pannier removable bags, factory engine case protectors, and throttle lock. Will include any of the stock parts.The best of both worlds…an agile sport bike and a very capable touring machine!Selling because I am 67 years young and have too many bikes.

This is the 1995 BMW R1100RS raced by the late Grand National Campion Gary Nixon (Triumph 1967, 68) the in BMW Battle of the Legends Series in 1996 & 1997, signed by the late Campion, Gary Nixon. The Legend's race ran from 1992-1997, racing legends commissioned by BMW raced on identically prepared BMW motorcycles at AHRMA races in Daytona, Loudon, Sears Point and Lexington. Four bikes were used in the series: 1992 R100R, 1993 R100R, 1994 R1100RS and this 1995 R1100RS. Of the four bikes raced by Gary Nixon: the 1993 bike is on display at Herney's BMW/Triumph in Port Clinton, PA; the 1994 bike is in private ownership, and the 1992 bike is not accounted for. This is the 1995 bike, the actual bike raced by Gary Nixon in 1996 and 1997. Gary Nixon tied the series with Jay Springsteen in 96, with Springsteen being declared the winner but Nixon won the series outright in 1997 on this bike. The series was cancelled after 1997 after racer Roger Reiman died in practice. This bike, which had been sold to a BMW dealership, had non-original yellow wheels and aftermarket Remus exhaust but was recently returned to it's former racing form by Hermy's BMW, an authorized BMW dealer. The bike is now as it was raced by Gary Nixon except for any safety wire, different tires and a smoke windscreen. The bike itself is in perfect running condition and recently serviced. BMW promotional race video (VHS and DVD) of this bike in action (1996) and documentary book included, (which confirms the VIN and ridership). The bike is featured on page 47, the appendix and throughout the book and video.

2001 R1100RT Just shy of 59k miles, Oil changed every 3k with high grade synthetic, new oil in rear end at 53k, new brake pads and brake fluid , new battery, new tires, barely 500 miles on them, recent valve adjustment, runs very smooth. . . and always garage kept,has minor character flaws. Recently replaced the ABS pump, new brake lines front and rear and replaced the clutch safty switch. NADA quotes low retail at $2650 and over $3500 for average retail. This is a garage kept super clean Canary Yellow 1999 BMW R1100 S. Only has 7,771 miles. Runs perfect and is a great looking bike. This has been in one family and It needs a good home.1085cc, air/oil-cooled, four-valve opposed-Twin. Higher-compression forged pistons with 2mm-higher domes bump compression to 11.3:1 from the RS’s 10.7:1. The forged pistons allow redline to climb to 8400 rpm from 7900 rpm, and a plate-type air filter and reshaped intake tract improve breathing. 2-into-1-into-2 stainless-steel exhaust with integrated catalytic converter provides 70 percent of the power boost.
