2004 BMW R 1100 S, This one owner, adult ridden, cared for R1100s-ABS has been reliable for 10 years. I just don't ride it enough. Low miles, BMW system cases, great tires, purchased new in 2005 from BMW Manhattan. Garage kept since. 1999 BMW R 1100 S, For sale - $1500 OBO - 44.6k miles - GREAT PROJECT / PARTS BIKE This has been an incredible bike, but alas, the motor gave out on me and as much as I'd like to bring it back to open road glory, I have other priorities that need to be tended to. Hopefully my loss is your gain as a terrific project or parts bike! Engine cut out at highway speeds and after a new starter motor and battery, BMW of Manhattan diagnosed it as having issues in the right cylinder (piston stuck in bore, exhaust valves bent, right rod most likely broken off at wrist pin boss). Motor does turn over, but with obvious struggle. Prior to this, all service was up to date and full records available since '09. Otherwise, this bike has a comfy Sargent seat, carbon-fiber accents, cleared lenses, and is the rare Mandarin Orange color. A few scratches as you'd expect with a bike this age, but all from NYC parking mishaps. Bike never went down on the road and I am the second owner of this entirely clean titled bike.
