Ready to roll. I bought the bike from the local BMW dealer in 2002. It is a steel construction and all parts interchange with the original. The Steibs are the highest quality and meet German TUV safety standards. The S500 was made for motorcycles 400 ccm and larger. Its typical rocket shaped body made from 8 steel plates trimmed in polished aluminum gives it a stylish flair. The boat with its roomy trunk space and adjustable spring suspension system makes it the perfect sidecar for long trips. The seamless tube frame is embellished in front and on top with polished aluminum piping. The wheel is outfitted with a swing axel and rubber shock absorbers. The S500 has a trunk lid that opens. For long-trips an original luggage rack can be mounted to the back of the sidecar.
