I purchased this bike a couple years ago with a salvage title. The bike has been repaired, passed a certified inspection, and is titled (rebuilt from salvage title), and registered in Colorado. I've been riding it for the past year without any issues. Bike shows 12,140 miles on it, but because of salvage title, the mileage on the title is listed as unknown. Most of the damage was just to the plastic trim pieces. It looked like someone just laid the bike down on a corner. Some of the plastics were replaced, and there are some cracks/scratches on the ones that were not replaced. Some new parts: fuel pump in 2015, AGM battery in 2015, Puig windscreen in 2016, recovered seat in 2016, BMW expandable hardshell panniers. These are a little beat up, but work well. The previous owner of these boxes replaced some broken plastic clips with riveted on metal. It works fine, and they are completely out of view when on the bike. I personally LOVE having these panniers, but if you don't want them I can take $200 off the price. Bike has ABS & heated grips, lights all work, & I did an oil & filter change this Spring. Tires are in great shape. I use this bike mostly for commuting to work, and have only had it on dirt roads a couple times, no trail riding. It's easily the most comfortable bike I've ever owned. For sale : Black '04 BMW R 1150RT motorcycle with 73,000 miles in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition. The 1150RT gained a 6th speed over the 110RT - much more comfortable at highway speeds than the 1100RT. Well maintained, all features operate. Always garaged at home and covered overnight when travelling. The bike includes an electrically adjustable after-market taller windshield, PIAA driving lights as well as the BMW integrated radio, and accessory shelf. ABS, three seat heights, heated grips, accessory electrical outlets, and hard topcase as well as standard hard side cases. Original windshield, BMW maintenance manuals, and a number of 1150RT-specific maintenance parts and tools included. Included are my recently purchased Garmin Zumo 595LM GPS and SW-Motech tank bag. If you don't want the GPS I'll deduct $500 and if you don't want the tank bag I'll deduct $75 - I'll sell them separately. I just concluded (another) 4500 mile trip which this bike handled beautifully. There are plenty more long tours in this machine. I'm only selling it, after 12 years, as I've purchased a K1600GT. Otherwise I'd happily continue to ride this motorcycle. Note, this is not a beginner bike, but experienced long-distance and sport-touring riders will appreciate it's comfort and ability to carve curves. Test rides only for experienced riders with a current valid Colorado driver's license with motorcycle endorsement. I have owned this bike since September 2004. The original owner purchased it new in May 2004 and sold it to me with 2400 miles on the odometer.
