For Sale - my 2012 BMW K1600GT Premium stealth cruise missile. I will miss the acceleration and speed of this motorcycle - intoxicating! As I've continued to have to travel more and more for my business, I wanted something a bit more road friendly than my 990 AdvR. I swung a leg over this one and knew it was it! I won't regale you with tales of velocity, but it was not uncommon for me to walk in the door and my wife say, "You're home ALREADY?!?! But, you just left (insert place) only (insert short amount of time relative to distance)!!!" :) :) :)Total comfort and reasonably agile to boot!So why am I selling it? I just never quite fit on it, not sure why. Absolutely fantastic bike, but a 2016 GSA called out to me and simply put, fits me better. Thus, this one goes on the block!Let me tell you about this steed. It has absolutely EVERYTHING. If you don't see it listed, it probably has it and I forgot...It's original color was vermillion red metallic. I hate red. I had it wrapped in satin black. The red underneath should be flawless, should you prefer red and strip off the black. Black is better though 160hp. Perfect condition K1200GT. Second owner -- owned for over six years. 43,167 well-maintained miles. Always synthetic oil. Always stored inside. This bike cost $18,00 new! If you are not familiar with this model, it is loaded for a sport touring bike! ABS, heated seats front and rear, heated grips, electric windshield, and cruise control! I think it is the best value for sport touring on the market -- for comfort, performance, and reliability. The inline 4 cylinder engine is the most reliable engine that BMW ever built -- I have owned them since the 1980s. Kelly Blue book on this bike is over $5700 with the two factory bags. Tires are in good condition. I have the clear title and there are no stories. If you are looking for a great condition GT, this is it. I took many pictures, close-up, so you can see the condition. There are a few minor scratches on the body and on the bags - but never crashed, rebuilt, or re-painted (see close-up pictures). Selling for $4,600. Owned since new. It has an electric windshield, heated grips and seats with the passenger seat separately controlled. It has both removable hard side bags and a top case that is also a passenger backrest. It comes with a Garmin GPS and tank bag. It has LED auxiliary brake light and is wired for intercom system. This bike has every factory option, including factory alarm, Xenon headlight, traction control. Also comes with a cover. This bike has always been garaged. Never been laid over and all recalls and factory service is up to date. The tires have less than 500 miles on them. If you're looking for a bike that has been well taken care of this is the one. It's time to part with my wonderful 2014 BMW K1600GT Sport. It's a dream touring bike, tough and tender, but finances being what they are, it has to go. It's fully loaded except for the audio package, but I had a Garmin Nav V installed before I took delivery. The Nav V is fully integrated with the grip controls and Bluetooth inputs and headsets. Standard Equipment: LED Fog Light Cruise Control Computer Console Heated Seats Standard on the Sport: Pro Seat Sport windshield Packages: Safety: Dynamic Traction Control Adaptive Zenon Headlight Tire Pressure Moniter Luxury: Electronic Suspension System Central Locking Anti Theft Alarm Additional accessories: Rich's Custom rider's seat (stock passenger seat, I used the original cover for Rich's seat) $500 Wunderlich hand protectors ($175) Wunderlich brake and clutch reservoir covers Techspec Snake Skin tank grips ($50) Bestem saddlebag liners ($60) California Scientific Medium windshield non-tint (original fairing is on the bike) ($175) reflective panels on saddlebags ($75) Side stand enlarger ($40) Ram mount ($40) Vario Adjustable lever, right side only ($150, stock lever included) Flaws: a slight rim warp: I noticed it detailing the bike for sale, never noticed washing the bike before. I've never had to add air so it's no big deal. Also, there's a slight detention on the passenger seat. Last winter I dropped the bike on its left side in the mud, wasn't moving, just dropped on its side: all affected parts, including fog light, all panels and muffler were replaced by insurance with OEM parts, all work documented with dealer receipts. Check pictures of the left side, no leftover traces. 600 and 6600 mile services performed by authorized dealers and owner's manual is stamped and up to date. All receipts and original sticker come with the bike. All the keys and fobs included. The bike is financed, so I will need a few days to get the title to you after payment.
