In 2006, Stefan Everts was reigning world champion (with a mere 14 victories in 15 Grand Prix) and then he became KTM Race Director. Back then, he could already see where the future of motocross was heading and in KTM he found an ideal partner for his vision: efficient and maximum practicable performance from smaller displacements in an overall package that's tailored unconditionally to the requirements of the rider. Four years or so later, it's ready: the new 350 SX-F. With a new engine, fuel injection system and smaller displacement, new bodywork, new chassis - in fact, a whole new concept. What with the first Grand Prix victory and racing to the top of the overall standings in the MX1 class after only two races, maybe even the beginning of a new era in motocross...
Motorcycling for the advanced: 6-shift gearbox, hydraulic clutch, Marzocchi Upside Down forks. White Power shock, everything fully adjustable. Seat height from 750 mm, suitable for 6 to 9 year-olds.
There can be no better proof of the supremacy of the 250 SX-F than three consecutive MX2 world championship titles. But that’s no reason for KTM to rest on its laurels. The new model is now available with a revamped chassis and an electric starter that proves its worth in many situations. Hence the smallest four-stroke in the KTM MX range continues to guarantee top finishes.
Does anybody need the brutal power of a 450 SX-F? Well, we wouldn't say "really need" in the sense of "can't do without". However, we do completely understand that some people really want this brute force. Because taking a ride on a cannonball is potentially somewhat addictive. Who is better placed to understand that than we are? Anyway, we have practically redesigned the 450 SX-F as well, with new bodywork and new linkage-suspension. And we have even managed to worm a bit more power out of the carbureted engine.
Great Bike! No absolute beginners are to be found putting around among the ranks of ambitious, young MX riders anymore. This is where future champions fight for victory and the best chance for a place on the podium is on the 85 SX — as demonstrated convincingly by Henry Jacobi's 2010 world championship title. The 85 SX masters the toughest MX tracks with ease. The grown-up KTM mini-crosser combines full-fledged MX technology with perfect controllability.

With the arrival of the new generation 350 XC-F the success story can continue. The nimble but powerful bike comprises of almost as much power as a 450, but with the agility of a 250 – so the basic idea is easily summarized, and has been a concept with success from the start.
2011 Ktm 250 SX-F, Brand New Carryover! - When you have a bike in your range like the 250 SX-F, which has been the dominant force in the World Championship MX2 class for years, then it would be very easy to just sit back and carry on as before. Luckily, however, that's not how things work in racing, or at KTM for that matter. That's why the new 2011 generation is being launched with a completely reworked chassis, new bodywork and the next stage in engine development with fuel injection.
