Austrian engineers have obviously been planning this bike for a while as the 2011s sees major changes on all fronts: engine, chassis, suspension and bodywork, many of which coincide with the larger KTM 350 SX-F and KTM 450 SX-F. Compared to last year the 250 gets better marks in all the categories it struggled in and it s an improved machine that offers a ton of features. The SX-F for 2011 gets a Keihin fuel injection system like the 350 which has temperature and altitude compensation along with cold-start enrichment. KTM reworked the cylinder head with dual-overhead cams and DLC-coated finger followers that are said to increase flow by 10% at the intake port. With the 2011s, The power still holds its top-of-the-line controllability and fun top-end pull but thanks to EFI, the responsiveness is now a form of brainless fun. Stop in and check this one out!! -I have a 2014 KTM 250sx that I am trying to sell. I am open to reasonable offers!-I am the only owner of this motorcycle and throughout the time I have had it, it has been loved and has been meticulously taken care of. Trans oil done every 15-20 hrs (owners manual recommendation), air filter cleaned and oiled after every ride, only ran Motorex Crosspower 2t with 96 octane gas at 42:1-50:1 ratio, and the top-end was done at 80hrs. It is in great condition with the only damage appearing from two dents on the FMF Fatty pipe. Although the pipe has two dents, it is still in good working condition and doesn't leak whatsoever. I have all the original parts including the original gas tank, expansion chamber, pipe, etc. Bike still has the stock plastics which shows how well it was taken care of. It has mostly been ridden on trails with very little moto tracking in its life. Bike still runs very strong and smoothly!-My reason for letting this beauty go, is that I just graduated College and I simply just do not have time to ride it anymore. I would rather have the bike go to someone who can enjoy it than have it sit in my garage collecting dust.-The registration is up to date and I have all the paperwork.
