Features & Benefits Engine Short-stroke 998cc DOHC, 16-valve, liquid-cooled inline four- cylinder engine produces more tractable power than ever. Yamaha Chip Control Throttle controls a 32-bit ECU fuel injection system for super-responsive, smooth, instantaneous power delivery. Yamaha Chip Control Intake electronically adjusts intake funnel length between either 65 or 140mm for an amazingly broad, smooth powerband. Two-piece ergonomically designed fuel tank carries fuel in the rear section, for good centralization of mass, while the front half contains a Ram-Air-fed airbox for increased power. For Sale Up for sale is my Beautiful 2005 Yamaha R-1. It is in mint condition with 22,050 miles on it. It comes with a power commander, trickle charger, and garage cover. The bike has been garage kept and just had a full ($859) service to include new tires, new fluids, new spark plug, new battery, tune and inspection. Service receipt available upon request. This is a wonderful sounding bike with low miles. We are the second owners and a registered mechanic. Always garaged and hooked up to a battery tender throughout the winter. Beautiful bike with lots of extras. Has 16,856 miles on it. New tires and a Shoria battery at about 15000 miles. Has a two brothers carbon fiber slip on dual exhaust, fender eliminator kit, flush mount blinkers, and a smoked windscreen. Never crashed did however fall over in the garage once.
