2008 Yamaha Yzf R1, For sale is my 2008 Yamaha R1. Bought it a few years ago with a blown valve from a guy in FL with around 15,000 miles. Had the entire engine stripped down, re-honed and reassembled with brand new hardware (pistons, gaskets, seals, etc). Cylinder head was sent out to andy mackie for new seals, valve guides along with reporting/resurfacing. Compression meausured 185 - 190 psi across the board. Engine runs very strong. Mods include Akrapovich exhaust with Y-pipe, PC5, autotune with custom map, ECU reflash by SBK, BCM filter, NGK plugs, smog plates, DID 530 chain, Vortex rear sets/ sprocket (stock gearing), HID 6000k, led lights, ASV shorty levers, LP sliders, Harris clutch slider, hotbodies screen, carbon fiber fairings, flushmounts, plus many more. Bike has 2 flaws, scratch on undertail and on side of nose cowl (see pics). Great bike, pulls super strong but unfortunately I work alot and have no time to ride it. Summer is around the corner so get it now. Might get a custom tune from a dyno shop before sale ends (autotune is good but limited in some areas), so inquire about that.
