Up for sale is a used 2001 Yamaha R6. This will get a pre-delivery inspection and will be ready to ride when picked up or delivered. This is a decent bike for someone to give a little TLC over the off riding season. Cosmetically this bike is pretty good shape with a few scratches shown in the pictures. It has aftermarket clip on handle bars. This bike does run but will need a carb clean before it can be operational. The battery will need a good charge or possibly replaced. Also the neutral light remains on while the bike is in gear so you can't tell when the bike is in neutral. It will also need tires. This bike is priced right to put a little love and parts into it and still be a great deal on a great bike for next season. Compact, high-output, liquid-cooled 600cc engine. New pistons, connecting rods and carburetion highlight this model's enhancements. Almost 5 lbs lighter for 2001. Still the pinnacle of 600cc performance.
