GET THE ALL NEW YAMAHA FZ09 NOW AT CAROUSEL MOTORSPORTS. PLEASE CALL FOR PRICE. MSRP on this bike is $ 8,999.00 + $ 375.00 freight. The completely redesigned FZ09 is here! From the new LED headlights to sculpted 3D taillight, sleek radiator shrouds to swingarm-mounted license plate mount, the new FZ-09 boasts a more extreme style to push it even further ahead of the naked sportbike class. New for 2017, the FZ-09 now comes standard with a two-position (plus off) traction control system, to reduce wheel spin over changing road conditions. Standard in 2017 the FZ09 with anit lock brakes (ABS) for secure braking performance across a wide range of surface conditions. Fully adjustable front shocks in 2017. Using new separate-leg fork damping for independent compression, rebound and preload adjustments, the FZ-09’s inverted fork offers enhanced tuneability, from aggressive sport riding to comfortable commuting. Yamaha also added Yamaha’s assist and slipper clutch reduces lever effort for reduced fatigue in day-to-day riding. At the same time, the slipper system reduces engine back-torque for improved corner entry, even with aggressive downshifting. The FZ-09’s 847cc CP3® engine combines advanced electronic systems—including YCC-T®, Yamaha D-Mode and multi-mode traction control—with a crossplane concept crankshaft to deliver an exciting, torquey and quick-revving engine character built around rider-centric control. Thanks to the compact motor and narrow frame design, the FZ-09 weighs in at only 425 pounds. Combined with optimized chassis dimensions and rider ergonomics, the FZ-09 achieves a sporty, light and neutral handling character, with an upright riding position suitable for just about anything. The ride-by-wire Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) system senses the slightest throttle input by the rider and instantaneously calculates the ideal throttle valve opening, and then actuates the throttle valves to actively control intake volume. This technology contributes to the rider’s feeling of torque and controllability from the 3-cylinder engine. The lightweight, compact all-LCD meter is updated for 2017, and is now mounted to the floating-style headlight assembly for a more technical appearance. The tachometer uses a digital bar-type display with prominent speedometer and gear position indicator, as well as readouts for TCS and D-Mode settings, a fuel gauge, and multiple trip computer functions such as average and current fuel economy. Great finance options on approved credit. Prices do not reflect applicable freight, tax, and license fees. See all the Yamaha's at Carousel Motorsports in Delano.
