New mirrors, battery, plugs, headlight, air filters and both carbs and brakes have been rebuilt. Bike is VERY clean save for a small dent in the tank from tie down straps breaking in the bed of a truck. Runs great and is a LOT of fun! Will make someone a great collectors bike, cafe' racer, or bobber if that's you're ambition. I am the bikes third owner as it's been in the family, and she's been garaged her entire life. Lots of time and love put into this bike. Runs great and VERY clean! Lot of fun but selling due to family move. Only needs rear shocks and fork seals replaced for complete restoration.
1981 Yamaha Xs650 , For sale is my 1981 Yamaha XS-650. It has 6.X thousand miles on the odometer, although it is not the original. It has a clean Oklahoma title. The bike has some cafe racer stylings like the seat, handlebars, gauge area, and removed front fender. I still have the chrome front fender that will come with the bike. This classic bike turns heads wherever I go and people constantly ask questions about it. I drive it to work and around town a for short trips but now I just had my second child and I just don't have the time to ride it and could use the money elsewhere. This is a 1981 and comes with the usual things any older bike or car does. It smells like a motor, leaks a little oil, and isn't perfect by any means. It's a cool, old, Yamaha 650 that I can guarantee you will never see one that looks the same. I recently had the stator and charging system replaced with brand new.
