2005 Yamaha V Star 650 Classic, This one is a little rough around the edges,but runs well. Custom paint condition is 5 out of 10. Taller handlebars, aftermarket exhaust, solo seat only, bobbed rear fender and ammo box storage. Sells AS-IS, and will be trailered home. Known issues are; both tires need replaced, rear brakes need replaced, leak at oil filter cover and stator wire. Frame has been modified to lower ride height.

18,900 miles. Always garage-kept. Never dropped. A few scuffs here and there, but nothing major. No major modifications. Aftermarket fishtail pipes, Memphis Shades windscreen (windscreen itself pretty crappy, but the mount is good), sissy bar, the saddlebags are pretty ratty.Maybe 1,200 miles on back tire. Brakes good. Been garaged through two winters and all of last riding season. I've kept it on a tender and started it and warmed it up every couple of months. It runs very nice, but, since it has been in storage, I'd recommend cleaning the carbs, etc before saying it's 100% ready-to-cruise.Cash only.
Under $2,400 miles. Garage kept and maintained. If you haven't had a chance to test drive one of these let me fill you in on this very cool bike. The best part about the V-Star is the shaft drive. No chain lubing, no stretching. You do need to change the shaft oil every 10,000 miles. If you have never had a shaft drive it is so much easier than a chain. Everything else is standard. The oil filter is inserted into the engine instead of a screw on oil filter. The big front wheel and full fender makes the V-Star look like a bigger bike. Not only does it look good but it helps make the bike the bike more stable on our grooved and cracked California highways. The looks are what initially attracted me to the bike and there is a ton you can add to it to make it a personal work of art. Yamaha offers a bunch of their own accessories but you can find all sorts of aftermarket accessories for the V-Star that will really make it unique. The fit and finish of the V-Star 650 cannot be beaten for the price. The bike is a favorite among shorter riders and women because of it's low seat height, but for a taller person it offers a lower center of gravity and increased flickability factor. The V-Star 650 comes from the dealer well suited for everyday riding.

Runs good, plenty of power, not ridiculously hard to turn.
