1977 Yamaha Xs650 , Here is a custom 1977 XS 650 Yamaha that my daughter and I made a winter project out of in 2013. Please note right up front that this bike was a project and not meant to replicate an actual U.S. Army bike. It is sort of a throw back to my own military days. With that said..... This was a bone stock, running 650 when we started and the neck and motor numbers match the (clean) title. A jig was made before the frame was cut and the hard tail tig welded in place. The tank and fenders and such were purchased and many of the other components were machined here in my shop. The frame, tank, fenders and most components were all powder coated for a tough as nails finish. The tires and any purchased components are two years old. The theme of this bike was to be sort of 'old timey / military'. That does not translate to 'rat' since it is solid / well built and no oil leaks. The decals can be removed with a hair dryer and replaced with your own. The electric start works but is not hooked up. It is still useable and I will show you what I mean by that. The one flaw.....the bike does not charge. I am not sure why. It has a new regulator but it may be something as simple as a wire (very simple wiring) or I guess it could be the stator. Since I never intended for it to be a daily driver I didn't worry about it and put it on a trickle charger occasionally. The price reflects that flaw. I would ask much more if I fix it. This is a fun bike to drive. It sets low to the ground for easy handling (my 16 year old daughter drives it). It starts and runs well and gets many compliments at bike gatherings and parking lots. The only reason that I am selling it is that I am moving on to another project. Payment will be cash only. Buyer is responsible for shipping. The bike will be sold as is / where is. 2000 Yamaha Yzf-R6 , Great running bike . New tires , new mirrors and new rear turn signals . Just did the oil change in the beginning of the summer along with the new tires . Has a small dent on the gas tank and other minor scratches but nothing mechanicly wrong . Starts up on first try . Selling because I don't have time to rider it $2,100.00 2696892417
