2009 Yamaha V Star 650 CLASSIC, 2009 Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic with 3K miles.... Bike was laid down on the left side going around a wet curve at around 15mph and slid less than 12'. I ended up with four fractured ribs and a bruised lung out the accident and don't want to deal with repairing it. All damage is completely cosmetic! I have had the bike out since the accident and it runs and rides like the day I got it which is basically brand new. No mechanical issues in the least with it! ..... Front fender, gas tank and light bar are the only things that really need any work done to them. Some other minor scratches on it, rear fender, windshield, mirror, handlebar cap and that's about it. Let's face it, this isn't going to be a show bike for anyone so a few minor blemishes aren't a big deal. This will make a great everyday commute bike or starter bike for someone. This bike could be ridden for another 100,000 miles as is! For the price and the miles this would make a perfect project bike for someone who has the knowledge and resources to fix it....
