1998 Yamaha V-Star 650cc She may look like a rat bike but she runs beautifully. This bike is a real head turner, every time I take the bike out people ask me about it. They don't believe it's a Yamaha. New Michelin tires front and back with less than 100 miles on them. (tires cost nearly $400). New fork seals 100 miles ago. New clutch cable & clutch plates 200 miles ago. New oil, oil filter & air filter 200 miles ago. The bike features black British army saddle bags, WW2 German gas mask case (I use it for keeping tools in), sissy bar, vintage rear light, stone guards for the front lights, after market exhausts, vintage 1970's Ooga horn and electrical set up for your GPS or cell phone. All she needs a carburetor tune up. I know a great mechanic that will do that for $250. I hate to sell this bike it's a one of a kind but I need the money to put down on another bike. Selling my really nice '74 MX 125. I race this bike occasionally with CalVMX and it is a lot of fun! Bike has new crank seals and top end. Tank is original as is the seat, which is amazing for a 40+ year old bike. The title is clear with current GREEN sticker so you can take it off road anytime, anywhere. The bike has a MX 360 front end (forks, triple clamps, brakes and front wheel) so MUCH better than stock, and recently rebuild with new Racetech springs and seals. Also comes with Progressive shocks set up for a 165lb rider. If you are looking to get into vintage motocross this is a great bike! Can run in many classes, and is not an intimidating ride (like my 250 is). Starts on the first or second kick and will go all day. Oil pump has been removed and runs on pre-mix, the way it should! Up for sale is my near-perfect 2005 Yamaha FZ6. I purchased it from the original owner with 1,643 miles on it. The bike now has 2,400 miles on it. I replaced the front tire with a Bridgestone (OEM tire), changed the oil, filter and coolant. The bike has a near-new battery. I spend my days on my dual sport so this bike rarely gets ridden. If you want a basically new motorcycle for 1/3 the cost than you should consider mine. Has no issues. It is all stock with the exception of the license plate holder and tail section that I replaced. The original was cracked (bumped into in the garage at some point by original owner) so I put on a quality, aftermarket one that cleans up the rear nicely. There are lots of stock ones on ebay if you want to go back to original. Not much else to say. Clear title in my name. Take it anywhere. The first valve check is due at 26,600 miles so nothing to worry about there.
