This bike was bought in 2012 as a left over and is still under warranty until 2017. Looking to sell or trade for NC700X/CTX700/V-STROM/VERSYS.The FZ6 is a great bike with the engine of Yamaha R6 which produces 100hp. The main difference between the FZ6 and the R6 is the sitting position. On the FZ6 you sit in a more up-right position which allows you to go for longer rides without feeling the fatigue. And of course the FZ6 will be much more comfortable for 2-up. Condition: The FZ6 has been garaged since second owner. I purchased the bike for my son to learn to ride and he took excellent care of the bike. It has NEVER been laid down/dropped. Features:Fender Eliminator KitIntegrated LED brake/tail light and Rear turn indicator system. (May 2014) License plate holder is under the seat. (May 2014)Smoke fairing added when we purchased the bike in May 2013Flush-mounted front turn signals were added in June 2013.Fairing bumpers were added in June 2013. Tires were replaced at the dealer when we purchased the bike in May 2013. 30-point check performed on it at Hudson Valley Cycles in June 2015. It has all fresh fluids, new brakes and chain has been tightened and lubricated.Black and White camouflage Dowco bike cover.Chain and brake lock. History: The original mileage on the bike at purchase was 3652 after it was ridden by a nice young lady, then my son put the additional 2299 miles. 2013 Yamaha FZ6R, bought it one year ago from an Auction. Bike was dropped on its side. Got all fairing professionally custom painted. So, you want an awesome motorcycle, but you don't know which one you want? Well, have I got the bike for you: my beautifully bad-ass 2012 Yamaha FZ8. Containing 100 horsepower in an 779cc inline-4 engine, amazing stopping power in the dual 4-piston front brakes, and a large-for-it's-class 4.5 gallon fuel tank, you can go all day with lots of power in both acceleration and deceleration. This bike could work great for day-to-day commute, long-distance sport tourer, or just for fun in the back roads. I'm the second owner of this bike, and I've had it since approx 7.5k miles. It's still under manufacturer warranty until 2018. I've taken meticulous care of it since, doing frequent oil/filter changes and following the service manual's maintenance schedule. For this season, the following work has been done: * Flushed coolant * Flushed brake fluid in front/rear * Brand new front brakes: both rotors, pads (EBC sintered), Venhill stainless steel braided brake lines * Rear Venhill stainless steel braided brake lines * Lubed clutch cable * Oil and filter change done 1.5k miles ago (Rotella T6 and Purolator PureONE) * Headlight bulb was replaced last year (should be good for another year or two at least) * Nearly brand-new DID VX chain and sprockets (replaced less than 1k miles ago) * Michelin Pilot Road 4 front and rear tires (maybe 3k miles old) (VERY good sport touring tires) I've done a few upgrades, as well: * Motodynamic LED tail light (with integrated turn signals and modulated brake light) * Fender eliminator * Smaller front turn signals (I have the originals if you want) * CRG Hindsight Lanesplitter Bar End Mirror * G2 Ergonomics Throttle Tamer (helps with low-throttle control) * Two Brothers Racing Juice Box (same as Power Commander/PCV) (helps eliminate throttle snatch present in all FI bikes) * SpeedoDRD (fixes stock speedometer error; speedo is 99% accurate to GPS) * Gold reflective rim tape (can easily be removed) * Shorty clutch/brake levers * OEM Center Stand Extras/original parts included with purchase: * Owner's manual * PDF of service manual * OEM toolkit and bag (along with a few extra tools) * Small windscreen * Stock front turn signals * A few extra sets of aftermarket turn signals * Stock throttle tube * Givi PLXR quick-release side case rack (suitable for Givi V35 side cases; not included) * OnGuard disc lock * Stock tail light * Extra rear brake rotor * Spare ignition key * Cover Clean title, and inspected through April 2016.
