2007 Yz250f for sale looking to move up to a 450. Bike runs smooth and has been well maintained with oil changes every 3 rides as well as air filter cleaned and spark plugs changed regularly as needed, just rebuilt the carb and fork seals. This bike has never been raced since we have owned it. I have also adjusted the valves with hotcams shim kit which can come with the bike for an extra $20. Also have a devol racing lowering link to drop the bike 1inch but still have the stock linage arm to go with the bike to raise it back up. Installed sunline v1 folding brake and clutch levers. Decal worx graphix kit new polisport full plastic kit as well, brand new front and rear dunlop geomax tires only 2 rides on them. Installed lex mx rear pipe still have the stock pipe that goes with the bike as well. New rear sproket amd front drive sproket and new gold oring chain. New tusk foot pegs. Decal worx ribbed gripper seat cover. And radiator braces on the bike. Also have another air filter to go woth the bike and stock brake and clutch leavers and also the bike has a new clutch cable and throttle cable. 2014 Yamaha Yz 250F, 2014 yz250f with a cylinder works 270 kit installed. The bike was purchased new in October of 2014 from triangle cycles of Durham. The full cylinder works kit was installed 5 hours ago with a new timing chain and runs great. The fuel mapping was also updated to match the big bore. I'm including the stock cylinder and piston with the bike so you can return to stock if you want. I'm only selling because I decided to go back to a two stroke. Bike also has an acerbis chain slide and a sunstar o ring chain. You won't find a thing wrong with this bike. It's ready to ride or race as it sits. Bike had fresh oil and oil filter every 5 hours and a fresh no toil air filter every time it needed it. Valves were checked regularly and are well within spec. 2016 YAMAHA YZ 250F 60TH ANNIV, Aside from its retro-sexy 60th Anniversary Limited Edition yellow and black photostrobe bodywork and graphics, there is no outwardly visible difference between the 2016 YZ250F and the 2015 model it replaces. Its bilateral beam aluminum chassis is the same. The body panel shapes are the same. Its rearward-inclined engine and mass-centralizing wraparound exhaust system all look the same.The YZ250F’s 249cc, DOHC Single features some key internal changes, including a new piston, new heat treating for the connecting rod and new thrust washers on the big end to increase rigidity and reduce engine vibration. For the second straight year, Yamaha has redesigned the YZ250F’s piston. This one features a flatter crown to affect a change in the combustion chamber velocity, and it does away with the sharp edges of the old one, for more efficient filling and scavenging of the mixture. Despite the flatter top, the new piston still maintains the same 13.5:1 compression ratio as the old piston, but look underneath and you will see that its F1-style bridged-box design is completely different, contributing to a 7% weight reduction even while incorporating lateral ribs added to both sides of the wrist pin for greater rigidity. Combining that savings with a lighter piston pin, Yamaha shaved just over 18 grams of top-end weight from the engine. Any high-performance engine builder worth his or her salt will confirm that less top-end weight is always preferable for easier power production and greater reliability at stratospheric rpm.

2015 Yamaha Yz 250F, This 2015 Yamaha YZ250F was purchased new in September, 2014 and is in like new condition. The bike was trail ridden by a slow, 43 y/o rider/mechanic. An engine hour meter was installed when new and it currently has 4.5 hours on it. The bike is unmodified with the exception of a Works Connection skid plate, and fender graphics. The plastic does have normal light scuff marks from riding. This model sells new at the dealership for $7,599 + tax + add-on fees. Buy this one for $5,999. I'm only selling it because I wanted to start riding regularly but my back says otherwise. The Yamaha original owner's manual, Certificate of Origin (title), and bill of sale will be included.
