This is a must see fully customized Running and Driving 1949 Willys Jeepster with over $25,000 spent in the last 7 years on fabrication and mechanical work, This jeepster has shaved front vent windows (still have both in new condition and will give it to the buyer if needed) that gives it a real Beach Cruiser feeling while driving. The body was customized at the rear to give it an open jeep like look and the inclosure was removed, the floors were grinded down to bare metal and thick silver with rubber backing soundproofing/deadner was installed. The 4 cylinder engine was shaped in favor of a powerful Mustang 289 V8 paired with the automatic transmutation and dual exhaust, the front brakes were completely overhauled including a new master cylinder/wheel cylinders/hoses and shoes. All electric wirings are new, new Led lights installed, New Infinity POWER FRONT AND BACK leather seats were purchased and are being installed this week (not pictured) as well as new carpeting and a new top. It was my father's and he purchased it in the early '80's to use for deer hunting, on his property. He always kept it maintained and in excellent running condition. After his passing, my son parked it in storage and that's where it's been for the last 8 years. I am going to try to find out a better account of it's history. 1947 Willys TruckThis truck has been used as a plow for the last 8 years and still has great running gear. The engine does not knock or smoke. It shifts good thru all the gears and the 4x4 works great. It is all original and appears to be all there. All the glass needs replaced. It needs tires and brakes. We are using the red plastic gas can right now for fuel. It needs the original gas tank dipped or a new one installed. The interior is rough. The seat needs re-done. The floor has some rust thru on the driver and passenger side and needs replaced. The body is rough all the way around as you can see in pictures. There are two, two inch circles on both sides of truck, right in front of the doors that are rusted thru. Not a beauty queen but is a good candidate for a restoration. I see a lot of the 1950's willys trucks, but I haven't run across many from 1947. Please email any questions and leave phone # if you would like a call back. This is a true one of a kind marriage between a 1966 Willys Overland truck and a 1995 Ford Bronco. The Willys body is set on the Bronco Chassis using custom fabricated mounts, the Willys bed has been shortened 5" and the rear fenders were relocated to accommodate the short wheel base of the bronco. The chassis is very tight using the stock 351w 5.8L fuel injected engine and the stock Automatic trans with a manual valve body. The Bronco Chassis was lifted 8" with a Super Lift lift kit with springs and arms up front and new leaf springs in the rear. The truck is Named WILLORD as is the combination. It runs great and fires up every time, The wheels and tires are 39.5 Mickey Thompson Baja tires with 90% tread and the wheels are 15x12 Weld wheels, on stock axles that retain the 3.55 gears with a limited slip(Posi) in the rear. The Interior includes a nicely finished seat with fold down center for cup holders and arm rests. The floors, Dash and door panels have all been replaced with 1/8 in sheet steel. The steering column is out of the Bronco and uses the stock key to fire it up. It has the stock ford gauges but some of them stopped working but the Tach and oil pressure work and it needs to be mounted. The automatic shifter is a B&M shifter with a custom mount. The only window that has issues is the front windshield has a crack in it, but I was going to swap it out for the earlier split setup. The truck is Originally from Northern California All four tires balanced with balancing beads or its also known as balancing compound, its the same stuff they use in big rig tires. When they are to big to machine balance they use this media to do the job. great stuff. This truck has Power ABS brakes with front disc and rear drum and also has power steering, turn easy. All new gas shocks have just been installed along with a new dual steering stabilizer. All new front and rear brakes just installed.New OPTIMA battery just installed. Also just added a set of small mirrors on each side of the truck they are black anodized. It does have a single in and dual out flowmaster muffler that has no pipe after that. These trucks don't come up for sale very often especially in this awesome configuration, a nice blend of classic metal with new advanced suspension, engine and power accessories like disc rakes that have abs or power steering. Overall a great truck, thumbs up every time I drive it even get people taking pictures with it. The truck was just recently used in a photo shoot staring the country band Florida Georgia Line. I was used in the Good Morning America Friday Summer Concert Series in August. Brian Kelly one of the lead singers drove the truck through the streets of Manhattan while being filmed and into Central Park. Brian Kelly and Tyler Hubbard both signed the glovebox of the Willys.call for info 631-298-8874

1923 Willys Overland touring car modified to be a 2-door T-bucket style roadster. CHASSIS: Built 5 years ago by myself, Chassis is built like a tank of 3/16" 2x4 box steel rails with an integrated drive shaft hoop design. Floor and firewall are 3/16" plate steel for safety reasons. This car is made of an authentic steel body with opening doors. Designed to fit my 6' tall stature comfortably - once you learn how to enter and exit the car. Designed to where you actually sit inside the car - virtually on the floor. Vintage oil filled lever shocks, reverse eye model A front spring, True vintage Model A rear spring. Both springs are mounted in authentic crossmembers. All u-bolts, fasteners, and bushings are new as the car was build five years ago. I-beam drop axle with disk brakes on the front - 9" ford rear end with a 350 open differential out back - 11" rear drum brakes - 1 year old Towel City 10" wide Radial cheater slicks on the back - brand new radial tires on the front - tires are mounted on vintage smooth wheels. Rear end is mounted with a set of heavy steel ladder bars mounted with rubber bushing rod ends to cushion any chattering. All brake lines are braided stainless steel to all four wheels from new hardline fed with a dual under the floor master cylinder. Brake arms are vintage, and the gas pedal is hand made spoon style hung from a ball bearing bicycle wheel hub. DRIVETRAIN: Rebuilt 305 Chevy engine with new bearings, rings, BIG cam, oil pump, CLEAR DISTRIBUTOR CAP, rotor, and coil cover (new), aluminum water pump, vintage torker intake, mini starter, low mount one wire alternator, and a Holley 600 cfm carb. Heads are stock, but I matchported and polished the ports. I just changed the intake setup on the car to the intake that works better with the engine - the valley is still super clean inside!!! Block hugger headers and Cherry Bomb mufflers with 3" turnouts for exhaust. REBUILT LAST WEEK turbo 350 trans, brand new Torque Convertor, new Modulator valve, Hurst Quarter Stick Shifter, circle track driveshaft with new U-joints. STEERING: Steering column is modified from a 65 Bronco hung with a piston rod, Reverse Corvair aluminum steering box controls the slingshot dragster style steering arm. All steering rods are made of SOLID steel bar stock and fitted with new tie rod ends - (NOT HEIM JOINTS). There is a cancelling blinker in the column that will need a little work to fix the cancel function. BODY: Willys overland 1923 STEEL body with functioning doors, authentic windshield pillars cut down, chopped authentic windshield frame, new tinted safety glass, Steel Model A grille shell, Steel Model T turtle deck trunk with functioning deck lid to access fuel cell, New poly 10 gallon fuel cell with foam, New Black paint this spring, Model A rear taillight brackets, stainless steel housings, and glass lenses, Vintage Brass tank radiator, Vintage Brass fire extinguisher overflow tank. Electric engine cooling fan on thermostat, Bitchin Child Pissing hood ornament, lol. Interior is a pair of steel tractor bucket seat bottoms with black vinyl upholstery, back of seat is a back seat top out of a second gen Camaro - both have been reupholstered to match. Floor mats are removable foam pads with carpet glued onto them, Haydees Radiator heater inside is just for show (I've heard people mount computer fans onto the back of those to make them work), Brass fire extinguisher was intended to be made into an opening center console to keep papers in (I never got to that). Removable top that is mounted to the car SUPER SOLID and will not flutter at top speed. The top frame is made to encase the windshield frame (made to look like a visor). Steel framing is fully welded and rigid to the 1/2" box steel boot. All framework has Velcro fuzzy tape against painted surfaces in effort to minimize abrasion. The top is fastened with stainless steel turnbuckles at the windshield frame and four self-tapping screws through the boot. The top's material is black cloth from a 1995 convertible Camaro - not some flimsy stuff made up from the fabric store - it is waterproof. GENERAL: This car runs 70 mph down the road all day at 2500 - 3,000 RPM straight as an arrow!!!! I have driven it for five years now and NEVER walked home, lol. Starts up first bump of the key and is super reliable with the HEI ignition. Took it Drag Racing a couple times and went 13.98 in the quarter mile ALL DAY!!! Launched dead straight, drove dead straight, and pulled the whole way. Never went faster than that - Never went slower than that either. The car is only 2,000 lbs - it would really go with a decent size engine in it. :) I've decided to sell this car to help finance a newer daily driver for the household - not because I'm sick of it or anything. Just the opposite - I put a lot of work and fabrication into this car over the years and I still absolutely love the way it sits and the way it looks!! Be prepared to get a lot of WTF? looks as you're out driving and biker waves, lol. BTW: NO RADIO!! You're not going to need one. :) TITLE: Clear title registered in Illinois as a Street Rod - 1923 Willys Roadster.
