The new Vespa Primavera is the 150cc scooter for the modern world. Updated lines, ergonomics, and engineering provide a scooter that rides like never before and sips gas like a bike with a third of the engine. The all new Primavera takes what made the LX150 i.e. the number one scooter, and adds to it. Vespa has given the Primavera an estimated 115 MPG thanks to a new 3-valve engine. Excellent acceleration can be found with the twist of a wrist for all of the stop light action in your in-town commute. Cruising with a top speed of 59+ MPH is just as easy as with the previous LX150 too. Even more riders can now enjoy the 150cc range of Vespas thanks in part to a lower seat height, narrower footrest, and newly contoured seat. This allows riders with a shorter inseam to feel confident when their feet are on the ground. New suspension design referred to as "Enhanced Sliding Suspension" increases control and safety, and comfort for both rider and passenger. The Primavera also sports newly designed 11" wheels front and rear. Styling of the Primavera can only be called classically modern. Elements taken from the limited Vespa 946 show up in the front shield along with LED running lights. Riders get their information from a new stunning combination of analog and digital gauges in the new dashboard; giving a sense of vintage style mixed with cutting edge technology. Vespa moved the battery into the center lower "spine" of the scooter to both lower the center of gravity along with increasing under the seat storage.
