Outstanding Electric Scooter! Originally purchased new in 2013. Checked by Hollywood Electrics to be in PERFECT riding condition. Only one owner and a little over 3100 miles. Goes up to 50mph, great for city streets and very solid. NEVER driven on the highway before and used as a daily commuter, to a job nearby. Takes up to 3.5 hrs to charge fully, using a basic outlet and goes 50 miles on the charge. Stops charging automatically.Babied throughout ownership. Never driven in the rain and covered. Recently repaired side body, due to sliding on an oil slick. Cosmetic scratches are pictured and can be painted. Has built in security devices that will be explained to new owner. The Vectrix fully Electric Motorcycle is a great (EV) that has lithium ion batteries. (think of it like a Tesla, but a motorcycle) I have used this to go to work some as well as a vehicle to run around town on the weekend and used my homes solar system to charge. I am selling this as I am actually getting a Tesla in September and to clear out a bit of space in the garage. I will except offers (within reason). The motorcycle is like new.. always garaged, very very low miles. Also notable, it will do highway speeds, has regenerative braking (charges the battery when slowing down) and handles like a dream. 2007 Vectrix Vx-1 , Excellent condition with NEW Nissan Leaf battery conversion. Recently updated the firmware with the "Laird" LifePO4 charger update. Also updated the motor controller and instrument cluster wit the David Dugas motor controller update, and cluster update so gauge is shown in MPH now. David Dugas was the original designer of this scooter. Installed voltmeter since the battery upgrade does not work with Nissan Leaf voltage range. Batteries and software upgrades were about $3800, paid $2000 for the scooter. Performed the TSB for the planetary gear lubrication update that allows for changing fluid. This has been performed. This scooter was $12800 new. It rides like a sports bike, but looks like a scooter. Around town it has a 90+ mile range. At speeds greater than 50MPH, it has about a 55 mile range. 2012 Vectrix Vx-2 , This is a fully operational VX-2 electric scooter with lead acid batteries in great shape (does not have the dead battery issues like the Nickel or Lithium battery Vectrix scooters). Batteries charge great and hold a charge long term. It is rated similar to a 50 cc moped (no highways) and does around 25-35 mph. Was used by my daughter at school in Malibu, so hills are no problem. Regenerative braking, easy to charge and use. Stored in a garage. Fun to ride. Registration in CA just lapsed. $750.00
2007 Vectrix Vx-1 , This is a Nickel battery VX-1, not the Lithium battery model with the bad batteries. That being said, the batteries are pretty worn out. After a re-charge the dash shows 22 or so miles, but I wouldn't trust it past 5 (or less) miles. Other than the batteries being worn out, it is in excellent shape and works great. When the batteries were newer, I could easily hit 60+ mph and it is highway legal. CA registration just lapsed. $1,750.00
