1999 Triumph Thunderbird Sport in immaculate condition. These machines have quite a cult like following due to the limited production run of four years. The bike has slightly over 15 k on the clock and has always been garaged and maintenance procedures documented and kept current. The bike is currently running the extremely rare D&D 3 into 3 system, it is loud but dialed in perfect with the correct jetting for the pipes and K&N pods. There is an extra exhaust system with stock headers and EPCO mufflers, again extremely rare since the company is no longer in business. The "Bird" comes with the OEM solo seat, headlight fairing, and extra two up seat. The current front and rear fenders have been bobbed and paint matched for more of a cafe look, but the stock OEM fenders are included with the sale. All of the stock items such as OEM turn signals, air boxes, "Cheese Grators" are included in case you would ever want to return the bike to stock form. Coils and wires have been upgraded to Nology, again stock coils and wires included. New chain and sprockets, recent Avon tires, and period bar end mirrors. This machine needs nothing and runs perfect. The only reason I am selling my pride and joy is age related, unfortunately the riding position of the TBS is not conducive with my arthritis limiting my riding distance. 2003 Triumph Thunderbird SPORT, I am reluctantly parting with my beautiful 2003 Triumph Thunderbird Sport (TBS) motorcycle. This is a rare cafe-style bike that was produced in limited numbers from 1998 to 2004 by Triumph Motorcycles at the Hinckley factory in England. If you desire modern-day vintage -- combining retro Triumph styling with contemporary machinery -- this is your motorcycle! I am only the 3rd owner of this bike. It was previously a beloved personal bike of the man who owns our local Triumph dealership in Dulles, where I get it serviced. This bike was only serviced by the dealer; it's in excellent condition with low mileage. I'm also throwing in a free battery tender that is already affixed to the bike's battery.
