The Thunderbird is Triumphs first attempt to jump into the premium big cruiser sector and they did a good job of it . Triumph has found the perfect combo between the classic lines of a comfortable cruiser and modern engineering . The result is a beautiful big cruiser to go against the heavy hitters in the cruiser market . At the heart of the Thunderbird is the liquid - cooled 1600 cc T - 16 parallel -twin cylinder engine . This engine makes 85 HP and a whopping 108 ft. lbs of torque at a mere 2750 rpm's , it is smooth and it pulls strong . This T-bird is the Red Haze Special Edition with an awesome candy red paint from the Triumph Factory .
