The new generation Street Triples deliver more in every way:More power and torque across the rev range and a richer triple soundtrack supplied by a new, larger capacity 765cc engine.Improved agility and more precise chassis behavior provided by a higher-spec suspension, lightest-in-class weight and a new gullwing rear swingarm for increased torsional stiffness, enhanced lateral flexibility and maximized stability.Improved braking performance through Nissin two-piston sliding caliper front brakes (on the S model), Brembo M4.32 four-piston radial monobloc caliper front brakes (on the R model) and Brembo M50 four-piston radial monobloc caliper front brakes (on the RS model).The new engine comes in three different set-ups to deliver the performance level best suited to each of the new Street Triple models, with all models delivering more horsepower and torque than the previous generation. The Street Triple S puts out 113 Hp @ 11,250 rpms and 53.8 FT-lbs @ 9,100 rpms. The Street Triple R ups the game to 118 Hp @ 12,000 rpms and 56.8 FT-lbs @ 9,400 rpms. The highest-spec Street Triple RS delivers the most power, churning out 123 Hp @ 11,700 rpms and 56.8 FT-lbs @ 10,800 rpms, a 16% increase in peak horsepower and a 13% increase in peak torque over the previous Street Triple. Loaded with state-of-the-art rider-focused technology including ride-by-wire throttle with up to five riding modes, new on-board computer, switchable Traction Control, ABS and on the up-spec R and RS models, slip and assist clutch, self-cancelling indicators and a ground-breaking 5 full-color TFT instrument pack.More aggressive street-fighter attitude achieved through sharper styling, a more athletic, nose-down stance inspired by the Speed Triple and a higher level of finish and detailing throughout.All Street Triples come standard with Traction Control, ABS and a new ride-by-wire throttle for crisper, more accurate throttle response. Multiple selectable riding modes adjust throttle response, ABS and Traction Control settings for maximum control. The Street Triple S offers two modes Road and Rain. The Street Triple R offers two additional modes Sport and a customizable Rider Programmable mode, including the ability to turn off ABS and Traction Control if desired. The top-spec Street Triple RS adds an additional Track mode for more aggressive ABS and Traction Control settings.
